Story
Vader is a sweet boy who is not the biggest fan of children under 12. He thinks he is a lap dog and loves to be with his humans. He enjoys squeaky toys and loves treats after he does tricks. He does know sit and shake with both paws and is house trained. He had a rough start in life and was on the list to be put down so I adopted him from the animal shelter. The animal shelter acquired him after he was thrown from a moving vehicle on the interstate. He was warmed up a lot but still is not a fan of car rides for obvious reasons. When we went to meet him at the shelter he was ok with both my children 8 and 14. However when we got home, he decided he does not like my 8-year-old. He has never bit her, and we have tried introducing them to each other 100 different ways including having a trainer facilitate the meeting. We simply cannot get him to like her.

Story
Hi, I’m Nala.I’m a sweet girl who’s feeling a little scared right now, but with patience and kindness I start to feel safe. I’m looking for a calm, loving home where I can take things at my own pace and learn that the world isn’t so scary. I have a gentle heart and would do best with someone who understands shy dogs and is willing to give me time to bloom.I’m available foster-to-adopt while I receive treatment for heartworm, and the rescue will guide you through that process. If you’re looking to make a difference and help a deserving girl find her confidence, I’d love to meet you.I am eligible for foster!

Story
Goose is 3 years old now. I need someone to take him in. I adopted him at 6 months. Since i got him he has been my baby and I have grown a strong attachment to him. He is a sweetheart and so easy to love. Though this is not easy for me, I know he deserves better. With my life being more demanding than ever with things like work and school, I no longer have the time to give him the fulfillment and joy out of life he deserves. He loves to run and enjoys walking and hiking. I would love for him to be able to live on a farm with a lot of free space or at least be able to live a life parallel to what he was bred for.

Story
Located in Fishers, Indiana. Prince turned 1 years old on Jan 1, 2026. Crate trained! He is very playful, loves people and kids, chases cats.. (probably best in home without cats)- He does well with our dog but barks at dogs on walks. He loves outdoor long hikes and walks and playing in the water. He loves playing catch and cuddling on the couch. He is very trainable and knows some commands. Beautiful full breed. Needs an owner who has motivation to train and exercise him daily. Need someone familiar with this breed who understands and loves shepherds.

Story
Ladybug is a 4yo shepherd mix who joined our family as a puppy when we adopted her from a hoarding situation. She is a fun, obedient, and affectionate dog. She enjoys exercise but does not need an excessive amount. She weighs about 60lbs. Although we love her, she has a tendency to bark and nip at our three young children anytime there is food in the area or when the kids encroach on her space (in her bed, etc). We have tried everything including medication, but issues persist. We feel for the safety of our kids and Ladybug's happiness, she would be much better off in a home with older kids who can understand her boundaries or no kids at all. She does ok with our older dog who is a similar size.
