Bronson’s Compatibility:Dogs - Bring your pup for a meet and greet to see how they get along!Cats - TBDKids - YesMeet Bronson, a handsome brindle boy with a voice as bold as his looks! Around the shelter, he’s earned the nickname “Podcast” because he always has something to say. Whether he`s giving his thoughts on walks, meals, or the general state of the world, Bronson makes sure you`re never alone with your thoughts.Bronson arrived as a stray, so we’re still getting to know him, but so far he’s been a delight! He walks well on leash, enjoys being petted, and seems to love human interaction. He’s got that classic `chatty but charming` energy and would probably make an excellent co-host for anything from strolls around the block to afternoon couch hangouts. We’re still learning more about his preferences and personality, so if you`re curious about this sweetheart, come meet him and see if Bronson is your kind of dog!

Story
Hi, I'm Radley. I was found abandoned at a park in southern Indiana and now I'm looking for my forever home. I'm a beautiful boy who loves other dogs and does OK with cats too. I am pretty shy with new people and I will need a home that will be able to be patient with me while I learn to trust them. I tend to trust little kids quicker than adults, but that will take some time too. Once I'm comfortable with you I'm a total sweetheart. My breed mix is anyone's guess. I'm around a two years old and weigh about 35 pounds. I'm crate trained and housebroken. I'm also neutered, microchipped, current on my shots, and HW negative. If you're interested in meeting me please fill out an application and my friends with ARPO will be in touch! If you are interested in adopting an ARPO pet, please visit our website at arporescue.org to learn more about our adoption process and complete our adoption application. ARPO limits adoptions to within 50 miles of Indianapolis. We do not have a shelter; all pets are in volunteer foster homes.

Nyla’s Compatibility:Dogs - Bring your pup for a meet and greet!Cats - Needs a home without catsKids - Best with older kids, around 14 and upWith her striking blue eyes and soft shepherd coat, Nyla turns heads without even trying. But it’s her quiet loyalty and gentle spirit that really stay with you. She’s the kind of dog who watches the world carefully, lets you in slowly, and builds a bond that’s deep and lasting.Nyla was found as a stray and taken in by a kind person who hoped to give her a forever home. She was deeply loved, but the home was just a little too busy for a dog like Nyla. What she really needs is a calm, steady environment where she can feel safe and take her time settling in.She walks beautifully on leash, enjoys a cozy crate, and thrives with predictable routines. She’s not a fan of chaos, but she loves the quiet comfort of simply being near someone she trusts. She’ll need a home without cats and with older, respectful kids who can help her feel secure. With the right match, Nyla will absolutely blossom. If you’re looking for a gentle soul who will stick close once she’s found her person, come meet Nyla. She’s ready to find a place to call home and someone who understands just how special she really is!

Story
Ladybird is a sweet, loving dog. Shes your typical German shepherd, and needs lots of exercise and ways to expend her energy. She also needs a home where shes the only animal. As much as we hate to rehome her, she doesnt get along with our other dogs. She respects our male shepherd, but cannot live with female dogs and small dogs. She is fine with them in passing, and 90% of the time we live peacefully, but she is a resource guarder. Shes never had a problem with our cats or our children. She needs a home experienced with working breeds.

Story
Sawyer is a 1.5-2yo sweetie who appeared at our doorsteps 7mo ago. All vaccinations are up to date and she was spayed ~6mo ago. She is potty trained & has little experience of being in her crate. She gets along very well with dogs and cats, no aggression ever noticed. She has been around 7-8yo kids, but I’m certain she is great with all ages. She has been around small, big, old, and young dogs. We have a 13yo small dog that does not like to play with other dogs & I believe Sawyer would do well with another bigger dog that she could play with. She is very energetic & loves to play, run, chase the ball, etc. No toy aggression has ever been seen. She knows basic commands of sit, wait, and no. She sits & waits for her food after it’s poured in her bowl until she is told “okay”. She has never shown any food aggression - She wags her tail when you pet her while she’s eating. We’ve had our hand in her food and around her mouth while she’s eating too. She’s just a big ‘ol loving baby.

Story
Peach is the sweetest dog I have ever met. She will steal your heart with her sweet nudges, silly laying habits, and her cuddles. She gets along with my 2 older dogs and 4 cats. Peach loves walks and car rides. She is great on a lead with and without a harness. She is potty trained and knows simple commands like sit, lay, drop it and come. She loves bones and we recently found out she also loves tennis balls. Peach will come with a harness, lead, collar, bowl, and whatever puppy food we have left for her. Peach has been our foster for about a month. We think she is just shy of a year old since she doesnt look to have grown into her paws yet. She is a great dog and will fit lovely into a forever family quickly.
