Story
Bailey was about a year old when she was rescued from an unhealthy environment. She is now 8 yrs old. She loves to run outside and chase squirrels. In the house she is a good watch dog and will bark at any sounds she hears outside which is usually people walking past or someone who is in the driveway. She is not a picky eater and eats dry dog food. She is a gentle dog who loves to be petted and bushed. She likes to lay down near people. She has a great smile! I would love to see her have a home in the country or at least a fenced in yard where she has room to run and play with children.

Story
I am Cocoa, a 4 year old German Shepherd. I was brought into The Shelter in September of 2025 because I was not treated well by my previous family. I have been working on some basic commands and walking on a leash. I will need to be in a home where I can have plenty of exercise and fresh air with someone that has experience with my breed. I am very strong and would not do well in a home with children under 10 years old.

Story
Max is a nine month old German Shepherd who loves to play, has a lot of energy and is very smart. He walks well on a leash and has learned to sit and stay ( I have not tested walking and leaving him in STAY). He loves to play fetch and tug-of-war. He does not do well with other animals so he will need a home where he would be the only one. We came to foster him after he was left after a couple split up and was left with their 75-year-old grandmother who simply could not care for a dog. His previous owners did not leave any medical records about him so I do not have those to provide I do believe he will become an amazing companion for somebody looking for a large, smart dog that just wants to be your partner. I have bought him a lot of toys and a bed, and I will gladly provide that to you

Story
Say hello to DINO! This bundle of joy came into the rescue and stole everyone’s heart immediately. His kind endearing eyes will make your heart melt. Dino was a puppy that was found by a wonderful person at the person’s place of employment. He fed Dino daily and allowed him to sleep in his car on his lunch breaks. Dino remained loyal and stayed around the place of work until they reached out for help from the rescue. To this day he loves cars and feels very safe from the outside cruel world inside of one. Dino has now been placed in a loving foster home and is learning to play wonderful with the foster’s big dogs and puppies that are fostering with him half his size. Dino is doing great in a crate and potty training. This guy catches on really quick. He is so appreciative of having a safe environment to thrive. He will lay on you or keep his head in your lap forever if you will allow. Personality: Dino is goofy, energetic, and playful! He does well with correction. Dino would be great in a home with another dog to keep showing the ropes of puppy life. He is soooooo ready to be your new best friend and would love a home where he can grow to be a wonderful life long family companion. Once adopted Dino will travel via the Rescue Transport to his new family. They travel each weekend from Memphis, Tennessee to the northeast, delivering pups along the way as far north as West Greenwich, Rhode Island. Transport is an additional $185. Story
Meet DIXIE! 🐾 This adorable girl is just the perfect package!! Dixie found herself, through no fault of her own, in a rural shelter that keep most of their pups outside under tarps and with hay in the winter. One look at that face and we scooped her right up. We were shocked to find out how sweet, loving and gentle this adorable doll was. This amazing girl just loves life and hanging out with her people and dog buddies. She is the first to welcome you home and last to leave your side. She has the perfect energy one is looking for in a dog. Dixie is approximately 5 months and practically out of all those time consuming puppy stages. 💖 Personality: Goofy, playful and energetic. Dixie has a wonderful temperament and gets along great with her foster mates. She is super smart and a fast learner. She will be up for learning any new tricks you might want to throw her way. She is fostering in a home in Memphis, TN and her foster mom would love to tell you all about her. Dixie is going to be great family companion and she is ready to be your new best friend! If you’re ready to give DIXIE a lifetime of belly rubs, treats, and a cozy bed, please reach out! Let’s find this sweet pup the forever home she soooo deserves. 🐶💕 Once adopted she will travel via the Rescue Transport to her new family.
