Story
Adira was found running at large in Memphis and was subsequently brought to a veterinary clinic by a kind MPD Officer. She was severely emaciated and scared. “Addie” as she has come to be known, quickly made herself at home at her Foster’s farm while she gained weight and recuperated. She is now around 65 pounds and estimated to be 2-3 years old. Addie loves to play ball, go on long walks through the woods, run, ride in cars, and snuggle. She is wonderful for baths, tolerates nail trims, and more than anything, just wants to be anywhere her human is. Although she is high energy when the opportunity presents itself, Addie would make a suitable apartment dog for someone who works from home. Her foster family works from home and she spends the entire workday snuggled on her bed beside her foster mom while she works. Addie is kennel trained, but she is a large dog and would not be suited for kenneling all day while family or individual works. Addie will do best with an active lifestyle and plenty of time for play. She does need to be the only dog as she is an alpha female and does not share her humans or her territory. Addie is deeply loyal and very protective. She is friendly to new people if her person is friendly to them. Once adopted she will travel via private transport Rescue Vet (transport cost is $160.00) to a location closest to you. Story
Beautiful Cordelia is located in TEXAS. There are not enough homes for all the unwanted dogs down there, so she is willing to relocate for a good, loving, forever home. Cordelia was dumped outside in the country and took refuge at someone's house. She appears to be a purebred German Shepherd, around 1 year of age, and weighing 70 pounds. Cordelia is a good, obedient girl, She is very loving and takes pets and affection at every opportunity. She knows how to sit and shake paw. She is housetrained and crate-trained. She is fairly well-behaved in the house, but since she is still very young, she does counter-surf or raid a garbage can if the opportunity presents itself. Cordelia walks well on a leash and rides well in a vehicle. She loves toys. Cordelia has learned to play with other dogs but can still be a little too rough with smaller dogs. So she should always be supervised around smaller dogs. Cordelia understandably had some separation anxiety because she was dumped. We have worked through most of this but she still likes to stay close to her human and we have to close the door on her to make her go potty by herself out in the yard. Cordelia could benefit from more obedience training with someone firm, patient, and loving. Cordelia must be in the house as a loved family member, she must be walked on a leash and have a fenced yard to run and play. Cordelia is a healthy and happy girl. She is spayed, tattooed, fully vaccinated (DAPPvL2, Bordatella, rabies), and microchipped. She is negative for heartworms and receives monthly heartworm and flea prevention. We would love Cordelia to have a fabulous forever home. Her adoption fee includes the cost of ground transport by a reputable and trusted transport company to Columbus, Akron, or Cincinnati OH. Cordelia is located in Texas and cannot be transported until after she is adopted. Please email 2manydogstx@gmail.com if you are interested in adopting this very good girl. Name: Lotte Gender: Female Age: 6 years Current Weight: 76 bs Expected Adult Size: Large (50-100 lbs) Breed: German Shepherd Energy Level: Medium Dog Friendly: Yes, and can have other dogs in the home or can be an only dog Cat Friendly: Unknown Kid Friendly: Yes to kids 8 years old or older Apartment Friendly: Yes Physical Fence Requirement: Physical fence not required Crate Trained: Yes, but fine being left free in house Potty Trained: Yes Ideal Home/Adopter: A home with someone that is familiar with the breed and willing to adapt to her needs. She is very strong and her owner should be able to handle her. Lotte came to RO positive for heartworm and a double ear infection.  She has come a long way since January and is now feeling healthy and relaxed. She is on activity rest, but enjoys hanging with her foster family in the fenced backyard or leashed on the front porch with them and their two other dogs. She is a large dog and doesn’t know her size so she may do best in a home with a little bit more room and maybe no small kids that she might accidentally knock over. Likes: Plushy toys with a squeaker in it. She is also a fan of frozen bones with salmon and pumpkin for a crate time treat. Dislikes: Lotte is pretty easy going but does love it best when she is with her people What makes this dog special: Lotte has a tipped ear and we don’t know why, but despite that, she is a stunning girl who deserves to be shown off with pride! She will fill any home with love and devotion. Lotte's adoption fee is $350. All fees include spay/neuter, microchip, vaccinations, worming, flea and heartworm current. If you are interested in Lotte, apply at rescuedohio.org to become an approved adopter and a meet & greet can be set up once approved. ##1946174##

He's a great pup. Likes: Duke loves to chew. It may be the puppy in him but bones make him happy. He is nervous in car and walking but with treats, he will follow you anywhere. He needs constant socialization with other dogs but has warmed up so well with his furry foster siblings.  Dislikes: No dislikes Duke is very smart and knows basic skills-sit, shake, and down. He is very adapt to learning new things so he would do great with someone who wants to teach him. He is very gentle, medium energy, sweet spirit and captivating expressions. He literally shows you what he is thinking through his eyes and adorable head tilts. He also is vocal when he wants your attention but very soft when speaking. He does well on a leash but is nervous when encountering dogs or new people. More walks will benefit him greatly. What makes this dog special? Story
I got my dog from my sister, she is very intelligent but lacks obedience training. i tried to teach her on my spare time thinking it will take, and it has but my lack of time and the amount of times she runs off because of excess energy my mother won’t let me keep the dog anymore. she is friendly and reactivity, anything makes her loses her focus. I want to find a home that gives her a task, she loves making her owner happy, alot a space to roam, where she well fed and given love.
