Story
Rico is a 7-month-old German Shepherd/Husky mix who will be 8 months old on June 8. We got him at 6 weeks old from an unexpected litter, so we do not know much about his parents besides their breeds. Rico is very energetic and loves being outside, playing fetch, balls, and squeaky toys. He LOVES food and will steal food off counters if he gets the chance. He is also protective over his food. He does well with kids but may jump or nip when excited. Rico is still a puppy and has trouble calming down on his own, so he does best with supervision or in a crate when unattended. We are looking for a home that can give him the training, structure, and attention he needs. We are rehoming him because we are moving and our work schedules no longer allow us to give him the time he deserves.

Story
Say hello to DINO! This bundle of joy came into the rescue and stole everyone’s heart immediately. His kind endearing eyes will make your heart melt. Dino was a puppy that was found by a wonderful person at the person’s place of employment. He fed Dino daily and allowed him to sleep in his car on his lunch breaks. Dino remained loyal and stayed around the place of work until they reached out for help from the rescue. To this day he loves cars and feels very safe from the outside cruel world inside of one. Dino has now been placed in a loving foster home and is learning to play wonderful with the foster’s big dogs and puppies that are fostering with him half his size. Dino is doing great in a crate and potty training. This guy catches on really quick. He is so appreciative of having a safe environment to thrive. He will lay on you or keep his head in your lap forever if you will allow. Personality: Dino is goofy, energetic, and playful! He does well with correction. Dino would be great in a home with another dog to keep showing the ropes of puppy life. He is soooooo ready to be your new best friend and would love a home where he can grow to be a wonderful life long family companion. Once adopted Dino will travel via the Rescue Transport to his new family. They travel each weekend from Memphis, Tennessee to the northeast, delivering pups along the way as far north as West Greenwich, Rhode Island. Transport is an additional $185. Story
Meet DIXIE! 🐾 This adorable girl is just the perfect package!! Dixie found herself, through no fault of her own, in a rural shelter that keep most of their pups outside under tarps and with hay in the winter. One look at that face and we scooped her right up. We were shocked to find out how sweet, loving and gentle this adorable doll was. This amazing girl just loves life and hanging out with her people and dog buddies. She is the first to welcome you home and last to leave your side. She has the perfect energy one is looking for in a dog. Dixie is approximately 5 months and practically out of all those time consuming puppy stages. 💖 Personality: Goofy, playful and energetic. Dixie has a wonderful temperament and gets along great with her foster mates. She is super smart and a fast learner. She will be up for learning any new tricks you might want to throw her way. She is fostering in a home in Memphis, TN and her foster mom would love to tell you all about her. Dixie is going to be great family companion and she is ready to be your new best friend! If you’re ready to give DIXIE a lifetime of belly rubs, treats, and a cozy bed, please reach out! Let’s find this sweet pup the forever home she soooo deserves. 🐶💕 Once adopted she will travel via the Rescue Transport to her new family. They travel each and every weekend from Memphis, Tennessee to the north east, delivering pups along the way as far north as West Greenwich, Rhode Island. Transport is an additional $185. Woody does shed a lot but he will not get on furniture which makes cleaning up his hair easy. He is an excellent listener, if I tell him to sit and stay at the top of my steps he will be waiting there when I finish doing my laundry. Story
Ozzy came into my life in a very special way. He was gifted to me at 4 months old by a dear friend who was battling cancer. She wanted to make sure he went to a loving home where he would be safe, cared for, and truly loved and I promised her I would do that for him.Ozzy is now 1 - 1/2 old and has grown into such a sweet, loyal, and loving dog. He has a big heart and an even bigger personality. He absolutely loves to play especially with his giant wooden blocks and enjoys chewing on bigger toys. He’s an active dog who needs space to run, play, and get his energy out. A home with a yard or someone who enjoys being outdoors would be perfect for him.Ozzy is also incredibly affectionate. He loves to cuddle, be close to you, and feels happiest when he’s part of a “pack.” While he can be on his own, he truly thrives when he has people around him.He listens well and is a good boy, but like many young German Shepherds, he would benefit from continued training and structure to help him.
