Roxy is a pure bred working line GSD. She is trained with all basic commands. In nearly every way, she is a great dog! Her only issue is being anxious and reactive with other dogs. After much time we have only improved this and it can get better but needs someone with the time and schedule to get her to the next level.

She is 10 yrs old.  She seems to be housetrained although she may have an occasional accident.  She is approximately 50 lbs.  Roxy is super sweet and does well with some dogs.  She must meet any new housemate prior to adoption being approved. Our adoption includes spay. vaccinations, heartworm test, microchip, and dog license. Anyone interested in her should stop in to meet her and complete an application. Arya is a 5-6 month old Shepherd mix.  She is playful, active, and very energetic.  She was recently spayed, vaccinated, tested negative for heartworm and microchipped.  Once she heals from her spay surgery she is scheduled to go to the prison for the training program there.  She is currently 31 lbs but will likely be twice that size when completely grown.  She is not currently housetrained.  She seems to get along fine with other dogs.  It is unknown how she is with children and cats.    Anyone interested should stop at the shelter to meet her and complete an application.  After she is at the prison all meetings will have to be scheduled.    Morrow County Dog Shelter, Mt. Mavis is a 16 week old german shepherd, american bull dog mix. She is a lap dog at heart, loves to be touching someone at all times. Her ears tend to pick and choose when they want to stand up but almost always she has one standing up. She had much more energy than I anticipated when i got her. She needs someone who has time for her, as i wish that person could be me so bad. She has had her first round of shots, and all rounds or wormer.

They describe him as “a fun, smart and energetic companion. He loves to be near us and is a loyal best friend who loves to play.”  They believe he would be best with a family with older children or a family of young adults because of his energy level.  He has never been around cats.
