Shes an intelligent, loyal girl who continues to impress everyone who spends time with her.Krissy already knows sit, down, crate, and shake, and she loves interactive playespecially chasing balls. Snow days are a favorite, and she can happily be found digging around to uncover a ball hidden beneath the snow. Shes also quickly fallen head-over-heels for our kennel manager, which speaks volumes about her ability to bond once she feels safe.When you first meet Krissy, she may bark as a way of letting you know shes unsurebut dont let that fool you. A few kind words (she loves being told shes a good girl) and shes wagging her tail and warming up fast. With calm, confident handling, her sweet personality shines through very quickly. Story

Murphy was known as Sean at the shelter at San Antonio. He had been injured by a car and was taken to the shelter where he was placed on the euthanasia list after a few short days. He didn’t have much hope left and had given up. After seeing the sadness in his eyes, we knew we had to help. He was transported to Ohio and was seen by our orthopedic surgeon who determined he had to lose his long beautiful tail, but there was also a good chance he would need a femoral head ostectomy to correct his hip and leg. Because a small amount of healing was noted, he was given 3 weeks to determine if his body would heal enough on its own and we could spare him the pain of surgery. That turned out to be the case, so this sweet guy only lost his tail. Murphy is doing wonderfully and continues to heal and gain strength. He has been cleared for adoption and is hoping to find a very loving family to give him the life he deserves. Murphy is a shepherd mix. Best guess by the vet is a mix with Chow Chow because of his tiny, flopped over ears, but we aren’t sure. beautiful ms boba was a great addition to the home. She is a strong Parvo survivor. Ive had her since 5 weeks old and she is now 8 months. She is your typical German shepherd. Absolutely full of energy. Sadly. I can’t give her all of her exercise and structure that these dogs need. She is having some difficulty regulating all that energy at home. If she had a new home with a program (and a massive backyard) she would excel. Shes the smartest dog Ive ever had the pleasure of meeting. I would describe her as. Loyal, Smart, intelligent, fast, reactive, adorable, fearless, and extremely playful.
