Story
Meet Cora! Cora was brought to ICHS as a stray. This gorgeous shepherd is a high energy girl. She enjoys running around outside in our play yard and rolling around in the grass. Cora's favorite toys are ones that squeak. She is mischievous, goofy, and a lot of fun! Cora is a smart girl. She knows how to sit and give paw. When Cora has calmed down she is a very cuddly dog. She loves giving kisses and snuggling up with our shelter staff. Cora loves people and making new friends. When it comes to other dogs she seems to like most dogs, but can be selective. So if you are looking for an active and affectionate doggo, consider putting in an adoption application for Cora!Weight: 53 lbsActivity Level: High Primary Color: Black Age: 1yrs 2mths 0wks

Story
Who’s that lady? (Who’s that lady?) That’s Gypsy, lady!    Meet Gypsy, who also had the name Lady too ironically. But she knows Gypsy a lot better. Gypsy is a 3 year old, 65 lb German shepherd mix. Gypsy is ready for a new home and ready to bring the party!    Gypsy is very affectionate and has great energy to play, hike, and be with her future humans. Gypsy knows many things including: sit, down, come, and working on more like a place command, settling inside of the house, and some loose leash walking but in true shepherd form, she is eager to please! She enjoys her crate and is house trained. She even waits at doors like a lady! Flirt pole is her second love to food and so that is on her wishlist for her new family too.    She has lived with some pre-teen children and would do well with them. But she is excited to meet others so small children might not be ideal in her home. No cats for this girl!    Gypsy was returned sadly due to some sibling rivalry. While she has been amicable playing with her foster’s dogs due to a structured set up, preference will go to having her own family and home to herself. She does not like other dogs being around her food. Multi-dog households will be considered on a case by case basis for those who would be committed to setting her up for success with other dogs with continued training! Are you ready to give this affectionate girl a new start? You can apply for her at www.pawsacrosspittsburgh.com/adopt KL #16182 ##1873611##

Story
Marina is a precious gem that you will have to pry away from her foster parents before they decide to adopt the sweetest dog they've ever met. She is everything you have been looking for: she's loyal, smart, playful, enjoys Ken Burns documentaries and will play you sweet music on a squeaky tennis ball. At the end of a long day, she will snuggle up with you and eliminate all of that personal space you didn't need anyway. Do you already have a dog with a similar temperament (absolutely loony but in a cute way)? Perfect, she needs a sibling to participate in daily episodes of Wrestle Mania. Older children, aka co-conspirators and couch cuddlers, are more than acceptable. To Marina, contrary to cartoon-related beliefs, cats are friends, playmates, and collaboraters on special projects such as digging holes in the yard. She's a total brainiac but don't ask her to help you cheat on a test, she has more integrity than that. She takes treats graciously and gently because she's also a classy gal. Marina has literally been stopped on the street to receive compliments from admirers. Don't you wish she was your admirer? Apply to adopt her today. ##2041861##

Story
Percy, a male, German Shepherd mix, was found wandering the streets alone and brought to the rescue in hopes of reuniting him with his owner. Sadly no one has come to claim Percy so he is now looking for a new forever home with a family who will cherish him and keep him safe. According to a person claiming to be familiar with Percy, Percy is approximately 7 years old and was not fond of other male dogs. Percy appears house trained, knows the commands sit and shake and has been friendly & cooperative with all the volunteers. He is now neutered and up to date on vaccines. Story
WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Rush - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! Rush is an Old English word meaning 'weaver' usually using the reeds known as rushes. And let me tell you, that name suits me as I'm a real pro at weaving...weaving my way right up into your heart!!! I'm a youngster coming in at around 6 months. What a perfect age to be your lil spongey sidekick...soaking up everything! I'm affectionate with people both tall and small, get on good with the other foster pups but haven't met any of those strange creatures y'all call a cat yet. Being active and playful I'd do great in a home with another playful 'sibling' or as your adventure buddy getting all the attention. I come in at right around 36lbs and will make a fabulous mediumish size boy to share in all your activities whether it's monitoring your yardwork skills to making sure you have a blast on our action packed adventures. Whatever is your preference I'm game on giving it a whirl!! My beautiful short coat is low in the maintenance department making me more of a wash-n-go type of fella. Perfect for being ready to go at the drop of a hat!! I've got a moderate energy level which will require some daily exercise and playtime but with that in I should do just fine in town with a yard, out in the country or anywhere in between. Are you in need of a BFF to share in all your daily going on's? A sidekick to be by your side for those action adventures? A cohort in crime. hehehe I can be that, no problem!? OMGosh, that sound just like you're searching for ME!!! Stop scrolling and hurry to fill out my adoption application and we can be on our way to having sooooo much fun!!
