She broke my heart and I cried right there. Who made her feel this scared? After a little time she warmed up enough to let me put a bandana on her and take some cute pics. She has the sweetest face and the most soulful eyes. Even though she was stressed, she seemed comforted by having another dog nearby. When I checked on her later, she had gathered every toy in her kennel and curled up with them in her bed. She just wants to feel safe. She deserves a warm bed, a patient human, and all the toys her heart wants.”

We are looking for a very special home for Mira, our beautiful 2.5-year-old White German Shepherd, as we want to ensure she has the best possible quality of life. Mira is an anxious and sensitive dog, especially with new people and environments. However, once she feels safe and gets to know you, she becomes affectionate and playful. She bonds strongly with her people and enjoys engagement, structure, and companionship. Due to our current living situation, a small apartment in a tall building and a not so active lifestyle, we feel that we are not the best match to meet Mira's needs in the way she deserves. We believe she would thrive in a home that can offer her more space, routine, and activity.
