Story
Hugo, Otis, Miles and Mavis are four puppies that are true survivors. Mother dog birthed 11 pups but sadly seven puppies did not survive the house fire. Their mom and these four puppies were left at this house, no food, no water, and no medical attention for the poor burned mother. They had been on their own for several weeks before we became aware of them. They had lived off people coming by looking at the damage of the fire. Thankfully some left food on for them to eat. Predators were lurking around the remains of the home which forced mom and her surviving pups to go upstairs in a house that was extremely dangerous. This and a super busy Highway cause great stress. We knew we had to act fast to save them. Mother dog didn’t do as well as the pups. Mother suffered burns and we believe it was due to her trying to save her babies. From what we have learned is that mom has never really had a home or easy life. She finally found a home and it burned to the ground. Tragic!!! When they came into rescue they were not acclimated to people . All four have come along way since and love to be around people. All they want is love and affection. Miles, the runt, is the most shy of the four. Whereas Hugo thinks he is the Boss and in charge! Mavis is the easy going pup. Just laid back and happy just being Mavis! She needs a shirt with a peace sign on it. 😊 Last but not least is Ottis. He is a character for sure. He keeps everyone entertained. Loves to play and wants everyone involved in the doggie games! They are all just sweet happy pups. There’s no way to know everything they have endured but these puppies have gone through a lot. They we’re out on their own, with their mother who had been burned and certainly in pain, trying to protect them and keep them safe. Their owner was hospitalized and jailed with no intention or possibility of going back to try to recover anything. The puppies have done well since we’ve gotten them and have came along way. They just need a family that will keep them safe and give them love. We know they’re good with other dogs we know they’re good with all people. I don’t know how they are with cats or other animals are. But these puppies can become anything that they need to be. Approximately 3 and 1/2 months old (15 weeks). Hugo biggest. Then Ottis. Then Mavis. And shy Miles is the smallest. Half German Shepherd. Half lab/ Dane??? PLEASE OPEN YOUR HEART TO ONE OF THESE SWEET PUPS!!! RPACI is a non profit rescue, and currently possess our 501C3 to operate as such. Please visit us on Facebook: Rebecca's Paws and Claws in Remlap and our website: www.rpacirescue.org. All dogs from this rescue are transported from Alabama to the New England area and delivered in RI. Each dog will come fully vetted. Story
This is arc. He is about 45lbs and very shy at first. He is dog friendly and has great social skills with other dogs. He is a big scaredy cat in new situations though and takes some time to seek touch from new people. Once you're "in" with this guy tho he is super loyal. He is potty trained and has basic house skills.

Story
Sweet little Billie was brought to us by a young lady who actually witnessed her being tossed out of a car. The people sped off so quickly that the young lady couldn't get their plate number. When she first arrived I thought she was about 6 months but when we took her in for her spay, the vet said closer to 12 months so she's pretty much finished growing. She's only 26 pounds which is surprising considering her breed mixes. The DNA came back as German Shepherd, Australian Cattle dog, Great Pyrenees (what?) Those were the primary breeds but there is also a little Chihuahua, a little Beagle a little Rat Terrier and several more! Anyway, she is healthy and very lovable. She's crate trained, spayed, fully vaccinated, heart worm negative and microchipped. She's also house broken to our doggie door. Ready for immediate transport PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE LOCATED IN TENNESSEE AND YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO MEET OUR PETS PRIOR TO ADOPTION! ADOPTION FEE $650

Story
Grace! Sweet Gracie is one of our favorites from the worst hoarding situation we have ever seen! She was so starved and hairless, when we spotted her, we thought she was an old blanket thrown in a chair! You can see from the one pic how skinny she was! She looks absolutely beautiful now and years younger! Grace is probably between 5-6 yo. She is now healthy and loves to follow us around during the day, and sleep at our feet. She is house trained and loves to sleep in the bed! She loves snuggles and does a tippy tappy dance for her dinner and when you come home! You just can’t ask for a better sweet girl than Gracie! She’ll steal your heart! Along with everyone else’s! She gets along great with kids, cats, and other dogs! RPACI is a non profit rescue, and currently possess our 501C3 to operate as such. Fredo is a gorgeous boy! He is silly and handsome, playful and snuggly. Fredo loves to have another dog to play with and he’s great on walks! He’s looking for a best friend! Fredo came from a horrible hoarding situation. He was starving and just in bad shape when we rescued him. He has fully recovered and is still a sweet, playful pup! Message us for more info!
