Story
Bruno is a 6.5 year old West German Shepherd Dog. Both his parents were imported from Europe and were recommended for breeding. He was purchased at 9 weeks old and lived a nice life with his family. He grew up with a 12 year old girl. His family was unable to keep him due to divorce. Bruno was first left at a city animal shelter in RI. He did spend 30+ days in the shelter and became very stressed. After finding out where he was he was able to come back home to his breeder. He is now with his breeder, but would love to be back in a house with people of his own. He has adjusted well to his new circumstances, spending his time in an indoor kennel 5x5 and outside in a nice run 10x20 weather permitting. He keeps his indoor kennel neat, does not destroy his toys, does not mess. He would bond easily with a new adult family, live in a house again and would love a fenced yard. He would like to be the only dog in home. The adoption fee is negotiable.

Story
Hi there! This is Peach. She is a six year old German shepherd who we got as a puppy from a breeder in Pennsylvania. Peach has been an amazing companion who is loyal and loves to snuggle. Due to unfortunate circumstances, Peach is no longer doing well with children. She would prefer a home without children or with children who understand boundaries. We love her so much and hate to have to be rehoming her but she is ready to become another families pride and joy.

Story
Meet Rocky, a lovable one-year-old Shepherd mix with a heart full of love and a sweet disposition! Rocky's journey began when he was abandoned with a group of dogs in a remote area in central Arkansas. Fortunately, a kind family took pity on the dogs and welcomed them into their home. The family is now fostering Rocky until he finds his forever home, with the help of our rescue group. Rocky is fully vetted, including vaccinations, neutering, heartworm prevention, and microchipping. He thrives on attention and loves to cuddle in your lap, making him the perfect companion for cozy moments. Rocky is very food-motivated, which makes him easy to train, and he adores treats. He loves both dogs and people, but his compatibility with cats is unknown. Rocky is incredibly sweet and deserves a loving family of his own. Transport is available from Arkansas to New England, and his adoption fee is $350, covering the cost of transport. Residents of Arkansas have a lower adoption fee of $175.  If you're looking for a cuddly, trainable, and loving companion, Rocky is ready to bring joy and affection into your life! For questions, you may text us at 501.289.0894, and visit our website at arkanpaws.org. Adopt Rocky and give this sweet boy the loving home he deserves!   2/2         4o ##2130195##

Story
Kenny is a lovable German Shepherd/Husky mix. He is about 5 years old, completely up to date on all vaccinations, etc. He was in a home in which the owners were overwhelmed with a new baby and did not have the time to give Kenny the attention he deserves. Upon learning that the family was going to re-home Kenny, my son, who is a professional dog trainer, took custody of Kenny. We love Kenny, but we have 6 other dogs in the house that are in training to be service dogs. Kenny is well trained and with a proper handler is fine with other dogs. Our son wants to find the best living situation for Kenny and will provide the necessary guidance to ensure a smooth transition. Kenny needs a fair amount or exercise, so a fenced in yard is ideal but not required.
