Story
Chacha is 7 years old. When I got married my mother in law could not keep up with his maintenance so my wife and I decided to take him in at 2 years old. Since then he is always been energetic and loves it when we ay catch with his red toy. Any ball he would love. He’s been good but gets very anxious when we leave him at the home. This past year we had another baby girl and we cannot keep up with the hair and the cleaning up. We would like to have him in a home where he can use his energy to run around and have fun more with someone who can care well for him.

Story
We adopt Baby Girl from a rescue website because my husband is retired and would like to have a dog at home. When we first rescue her, she is only 70 lbs, and now she is almost 90 lbs. Baby girl is very calm, she barely bark all day. She like to stay at her bed. And she follow my husband everywhere he go in the house. She is good with kids and other dog She will play few of her favorite toys. And she love go out for a walk. She walk good with the leash. We are still walking on the training such as sit, fetch etc.My husband knee is getting bad and he could not walk her now. I have to walk most of the time. And recently, with the career change, We have to travel much more frequently than now (oversea). We love her, but we could not give her the care she needs and we certainly does not want to put her in boarding too long. Last time, we have to leave her there for a month, and when we pick her up, she sure was mad of us. So, we would love to find a family could give her the love and care.

Story
Meet Ariel — Your New Velcro Bestie! ????Ariel is a gentle, loving girl who’s the perfect mix of loyal shadow and playful companion. She already knows several commands like sit, stay, and leave it, and she’s fully potty trained and kennel trained, such a good girl. She’s dog friendly and does great living in a busy home with multiple pups, but when the others are off doing their thing, Ariel turns into a total sweetheart who follows her person around hoping for pets and attention. She’s not shy at all and loves being loved on.Ariel walks well on a leash but can pull a bit when she’s excited, so a little basic training will go a long way because she’s smart and eager to please. She hasn’t been tested with cats yet.She will happily hop on the furniture because she thinks she’s earned VIP status. And honestly, she kinda has.Ariel is in great health, fully vaccinated, spayed, and on monthly heartworm and flea and tick prevention, so she is ready for her forever family. She is currently being fostered in a loving home in North Richland Hills, Texas. If you’re looking for a sweet, affectionate girl who wants to be part of everything you do, Ariel is ready to be your loyal sidekick and snuggle buddy.Come meet Ariel and let her show you just how big her heart is! ????

Story
Gracie is a 2 1/2 year-old, 50lbs Shepherd mix with a heart as big as her smile! Originally adopted from Collin County Animal Shelter, she has blossomed into a sweet, loving, and playful companion who’s ready to find her forever family. Gracie is housebroken, crate trained, spayed, heartworm negative, microchipped, and fully up to date on vaccinations and preventatives. She even graduated from training through Dog Training Elite—she knows sit, down, paw, come, and go to bed (kennel). She’s still working on her leash manners but is eager to please and treat-motivated, so continued training will be a fun way to bond with her. This girl has a playful side too—she LOVES tennis balls, cuddles on the couch, and watching squirrels from the window (she could do it for hours!). With her high prey drive, she would thrive in a home with no cats or small animals. Gracie would do best as the only pet - she can coexist around other dogs but seems to prefer being an only pet in her home space. She absolutely adores people, including children, and will make a wonderful family dog.  If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate, and fun companion, Gracie is ready to be your best friend. Complete an online application today to meet this sweet lady: https://legacyhumanesociety.org/adoption-application/We do not have a facility to house the dogs in our program. Story
Cash came to the rescue when the shelter sent him to have his fractured leg amputated at our vet clinic. He had been shot, and we have no idea of the other abuse he had suffered, but he is initially afraid of new men (fine once he learns they mean him no harm). While he is not an aggressive boy, he acts as if he could tear into someone, which can be off-putting. He is fine with women, loving, outgoing, and cuddly, especially with his foster mom. We are helping him work onhis fear, which can/will be resolved with patience and TLC.Cash lives with lots of other dogs and gets along with everyone, large and small. He is playful and happy, can be as gentle or rough as needed, depending on who he is playing with. He walks fine on a leash and is good at going for rides when he gets a chance. He is crate trained and asks to go out if needed between potty breaks. He generally has good house manners, except when he counter-surfs for food when the opportunity presents itself.Cash is fully vetted, current with vaccines, neutered, microchipped, and on flea and tick, as well as heartworm, prevention.
