Harley was outside a dog park in October 2023. A kind citizen took her in and tried to find her owners, but no one ever surfaced. She is now in the LHS foster program in hopes of finding her a forever home to call her own. When Harley was found she was severely underweight and sick. She has been nursed back to health and is now a healthy, sweet, loving girl who is house-trained and knows basic commands. She is also fully crate-trained and food-motivated, making her easy to train. She does love to play and would do best in a home where the other resident pet is up for a play date, wrestle and a good game of chase. She would also do ok in a home as an only pet as well. She is great with children of all shapes and sizes. She has been spayed, is current on vaccinations, heartworm negative and microchipped. All she needs now is a forever home to call her own! Skye is a very sweet girl. She was abandoned by her past owner. She is about 3 years old, good with strangers, dogs, cats, children, etc. She is blind in both eyes but mostly her left eye. She can still see but she is a little clumsy because of it. She is high energy and requires a bit of attention due to her breed. She knows basic obedience commands like sit, lay down, paw, and you can sometimes get her to roll over and is potty trained ( she is also very photogenic!) . She is not aggressive whatsoever, she has never bit anyone in the year that I have had her. Amazing temperament especially for her breed. I hope to find a loving home for this precious girl.

I found Lenna (which means lion-hearted in German) through a Facebook post. She was in a ranch type of property along with 10 other similar dogs. The owner was an old nonspeaking English lady and Lenna wasn't in good shape. She was 8 weeks old when I got her. She is 15 months old now. Great companion, and a great character. Very intelligent and super receptive. Highly trainable. She is not crate trained and she has no behaviour issues. She is very much bonded with me. She plays with our Shih-Tzu (whom we adopted way before Lenna). She is good with kids preferably older kids. My son is 9 and she is very good at that. She is very active so I prefer a family with dogs preferably another GSD. The reason that I am giving her away, I have heavy business travels sometimes overseas for a month. My mother-in-law stays with us and she's cancer. For Potential adopters I need pictures with your dog and social media profile would be great to give tips about your life with dog.

Let me introduce myself, I'm Lakota, Kota for short, and I am looking for a family to call my own. My foster family picked me up in a Wal-Mart parking lot in Oklahoma. My previous owner lived in a camper and figured out quickly that I was going to be way too big for that lifestyle and was giving me away. My foster mom has a soft spot for GSD's and brought me to her house in Texas, it was a great ride, I love car rides! I am still a puppy, be it a big one, so I am still learning what's ok for me to chew on and play with. I live with 2 other dogs and a few cats in my foster house. I probably shouldn't go to a house with cats because I like to chase them, I don't want to hurt them I'm just playing with them but they don't exactly like playing with me, go figure CATS! I am still learning about the big, wide world and sometimes can be afraid of new things but usually get over it quickly. I am housetrained and will let you know when I need to go out. About Lilly: Lilly came from an home that was not the best. Her mom decided to let her go to find a safe , loving, forever home. But you would never know she came from such a sad living situation.
