Story
Hello, there! I'm Mark, a charming 3-year-old German Shepherd mix with a striking black and white fur coat. My story began when I was just a pup of about four months old. Hungry and seeking kindness, I wandered into a guest house on the beautiful Jeju Island in Korea. Fortunately, compassionate souls took me in, providing me with food and care. Despite my lovable and well-behaved personality, I haven't yet found that forever family I long for, even at three years old. I simply adore people. Approaching them and sharing affection is something I absolutely cherish—I'll rub my body against them and gladly accept cuddles from both familiar faces and those I've just met. Car rides are a breeze for me, and I'm more than ready for a delightful walk with a leash. When it comes to other dogs, I approach them with a friendly greeting, though I prefer to build a rapport before engaging in play. Meeting a cat during a walk piques my curiosity, but I always follow my human's lead when it comes to the leash. My journey thus far has had its challenges, but I'm now eager to find my forever family, share affection, and live a joy-filled life. Are you the one I've been waiting for? Let's rub hearts and make beautiful memories together! 🐾❤️ For more videos: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLIsLTtIpe3JxqRJ_5tCSi_Q-uLafHZJko&si=IP7YOIoFLA3ScLu2

Story
Sweet Grace is a gentle senior lady looking for a warm place to call home. This beautiful girl is incredibly loving and will melt your heart when you meet her. According to her foster, Grace is a well behaved, gentle, easy going sweetheart, with low-medium activity needs. She likes to be near her people, but not on top of them. She is incredibly smart, food motivated, and likes being kept on a regular schedule. In her foster home, she was left uncrated and was a perfect lady - she did just fine alone and had no accidents! Grace loves walks, sunbathing, being petted, short hikes, tennis balls, and rocks. That`s right, rocks! She likes digging up rocks and playing hide and seek with them! She is so happy when she finds her rock! She LOVES rocks! In her foster home, she met several other dogs while on walks and did well with them, and she was very sweet and gentle with a child in the home. Grace is a great girl and will make a wonderful addition to almost any family!

Story
Volunteer notes, 7/16/24:Rosco loved splashing in the pool today and stood (somewhat) patiently while I combed him. He performs the `sit` command really well even when he`s not interested in the treat on offer. He barked at a couple of other dogs and seemed quite interested in their business. Overall, though, he has really chilled out since we first met him a few weeks ago.Volunteer notes, 6/17/24:It is amazing what you can learn about a dog just by spending some extra time with them. On our third meeting, Rosco`s tough guy act started to crumble. He took treats very gently from me, sat on command, and even showed a little wariness around inanimate objects like furniture and toys. (He didn`t know what toys were; it was sad.) I think he might be secretly shy! One thing is for sure, now that he`s decided I`m an OK person, he is all about snuggling and begging for snacks. Is he used to being treated like a possession rather than a family member? He might need a little help learning how to be a pet!Volunteer notes, 6/3/24:Roscoe is a ruggedly handsome outdoorsman with a luxuriously thick coat and an independent streak. He did well on the leash and in the play yard, where he inspected the perimeter thoroughly and took care of all business in a timely manner. He was unconcerned with any attempts of dogs or humans to distract him from his goal. He was less eager to return to the kennel and needed to be wrangled. First impression is that this gorgeous boy is an alpha and would prefer an active home.
