Story
Tulip is a sweet German Shepherd mix who joined our family two years ago as a rescue. She’s brought so much love and loyalty into our lives, and we’re heartbroken to rehome her due to an upcoming move. She’s shy at first and may bark, but once she trusts you, she’s incredibly affectionate, protective, and loves hugs and running around! Tulip knows how to sit, give paw, and is a great listener. She does need more training — especially with strangers and delivery folks — but with time and patience, she’ll thrive. She’s not a fan of cats and can be picky with children, so a calm, experienced home without other pets or young kids would be best. Tulip is perfect for someone ready to offer love, stability, and continued training. She takes time to warm up, but once she does, she’ll be your most loyal companion.

Story
Hi, I'm Sparks! I found myself in this shelter through a magical twist. One day, while chasing my tail, I spun so fast, I whirled into a different world. This world, full of kind humans and fellow pets, was unlike my old home. I explored every nook, sniffed out every cranny, and made everyone laugh with my goofy antics. I'm quite the character, you see. Independent, yet loyal. Playful, yet mellow. I've had my fun here, but now I'm ready for a new adventure. Will you be my companion? I promise to fill your life with laughter, loyalty, and love. Want to meet Sparks? Story
Greetings world My name is Luna. I am a happy and energetic young girl of about seven months old. I am looking for a family of my very own. Let me tell you a little bit about myself and see if you think we might be a match.I am a petite girl. My foster mom thinks that I am a mix. Most likely I am a German Shepherd/border collie mix. I have a beautiful gray face with fluffy ears I have wavy blonde and brown fur on my body. I am currently 37 pounds and will probably be about 50 pounds when I finish maturing. So a perfect size for someone wanting a more compact companion! My foster mom says that I am super super smart! I think that's a compliment! I am a very intense dog and I bond very quickly with my person. I am very fast very athletic and very focused. Foster mom says I need a job! When we are out in the yard I will run around and then I will run up and either do a leap by my foster mom or I will come to a sliding stop and just look at her for direction.I am extremely food motivated and will sell my soul or do any trick you want to try to teach me for some treats. I take treats gently which is a good thing. I love to play ball and I love to just engage with my foster mom. I will sit on command and stare intently waiting for further direction. I also know how to give the paw! I sometimes utilize this skill to try to encourage my foster mom to give me an extra treat from her a little snack bag that she carries around.I have several furry foster siblings that I get to interact with and play with. I love a good game of chase (I am super fast and I can dodge and weave with the best and I can also utilize my leapfrog skills. If someone trips in front of me I just go vertical and hurdle right over them). I'm also up for the little rough and tumble play as a few of my housemates like to play tag/tackle as well. It's all good. I am perfectly happy with that. I'm actually a fairly submissive player.I do have consider a prey drive so I will need a home with a dog at least my size or bigger. No small dogs. No felines. (Foster mom is unsure on fish; they move around quickly. They might also get my attention. ). I also need a home without chickens. There are currently chickens at my foster home and I am trying my best to parkour off the fence to see if I can get it to give. I would love a home with an individual or a couple that would like to work with me on agility or some other sport where I could demonstrate my superior skill sets. I am so eager to learn and I am so athletic. What do you expect when you have a working line dog/herding dog combination? I would also love someone who just wants to run! I have tons of energy and I would love to be a jogging partner! My foster mom says that I need to go to a home without children under the age of 15. I am a super excited dog and I get a little nippy. It's just an energy outlet but my foster mom says that it's not a good combination to have around young children. Well I've tried to describe a lot of my personality traits and hopefully I have peaked your interest if you're looking for a fun loving devoted friend. Please come and meet me soon. Best wishes Luna Please visit our website www.gsdrescue.org to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs.

Loves blankets and toys. Belly scratches are his favorite. Unable to keep him anymore as he needs space and we live in a townhouse and we work and go to school, and he needs attention.
