Meet Sully! Sully is a handsome, almost 5-year-old German Shorthaired Pointer/Lab mix with endless energy, a BIG personality, and an even bigger heart! This fun-loving boy is always up for an adventure, whether it's swimming, playing fetch, or exploring the great outdoors. When he's not on the move, he's an affectionate cuddle bug who absolutely adores his people. Sully has grown up with children and is wonderful with them, although his enthusiasm can sometimes be a little overwhelming for younger kiddos. He does well with other large dogs off leash, has great recall at the dog park, and is crate trained with basic obedience skills. Due to his high prey drive, he needs a home without cats or other small animals. Sully does have some quirks! He struggles with leash reactivity, particularly around other energetic dogs and people on bikes, scooters, or skateboards. He can bark and lunge when overstimulated, but he has no history of biting or aggression toward people or dogs. His family has invested in professional training, and he'll need someone patient and committed to continuing that work. Sully's ideal home would have a securely fenced yard, an active family who can provide plenty of daily exercise, and someone experienced with high-energy dogs.
