Story
🐾 Meet Millie – The Sweetest Girl Looking for Love! 🐾 Millie is a chameleon. She can look soft and squishy, or she can look calm and aloof. The one thing that is constant is what a special, loving girl she is. She looks at her foster parents with love in her eyes all the time, that when her face softens and a sereness comes over her. She is a delight, she is gentle and sweet but you can tell this one loves deeply when she feels safe. Millie is 48 lbs, loves to play especially in water. She is intrigued by animals on TV and will focus in every time that is playing. She loves everyone she meets—kids, big dogs, little dogs—you name it! I just have so much love to give and can’t wait to find a family who will love me back. So why am I looking for a new home? Well, my owner’s boyfriend’s dog didn’t like me and wasn’t very nice to me. My owner made the tough decision to let me go because she knew it was for the best. And you know what? That means I now have the chance to find a family who will love me as much as I love them! I’m about 49 pounds, petite but full of personality! This sweet girl is much smaller than she looks, crate trained, potty-trained and good with other pups and children. Millie has lived with a child in a wheelchair and does just fine! Millie is about a year old and finds herself in an unexpected position. And its better for Millie to be in a home she can thrive in. She is medium sized, house and crate trained and while she still pulls on her leash, walking manners are improving quickly. Story
Meet Dot (Dottie) 🎀 Dot’s story began when her mother was rescued, and just a short time later, on Christmas Day 2024, Dot and her siblings were born safely in our care. Now 11 months old and about 50 lbs, this beautiful retriever mix has grown up in rescue — and it’s time for her to find a forever family of her own. Dot is as smart as she is sweet. She knows sit, stay, and shake, and she’s potty trained, crate trained, leash trained, and eager to please. She’s wonderful with other dogs and children, making her an excellent family companion. Her favorite game is tug, and she’s always up for playtime before settling down for snuggles. Playful, loving, and incredibly loyal, Dot has spent her whole young life waiting. Now she’s ready to grow up in the comfort of a forever home. 💕 📩 Apply to adopt Dot: www.dallasdog.org/adopt A good Samaritan took Dot's mom, a stray, in and as soon as she knew she was safe she quickly delivered 10 little puppies. Story
Meet Akira (originally Pepper) We got her the same way we are letting her go. She is the goodest girl a family could ask for. She's super gentle with kids (I have 3 girls). House trained, a bit of separation anxiety but we've just about got her past that. And she will CONSTANTLY want you to per her :-) Our lives here are changing, and the time we have for her has been drastically reduced. Other health issues with my spouse have surfaced, and I don't want things to be unfair to her. She deserves better than what we can currently give her. Best bet, have a back yard. As long as she has food and water, she will literally stay out there all day if you let her. We have a strong crate that she cannot break out of because we have discovered she is a whole escape artists. She'fll come with toys, food, bowls and a bed. Thanks for checking out my sweet girl!
