Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hello my name is Oscar!  I had a rough start to life. We know that momma was a brindle pit mix and I look nothing like her! In fact I look nothing like any of my siblings. Dad was just a one night stand. We were told that dad was a golden retriever that runs the streets in the neighborhood we got them from.  Oscar is a sweet boy who enjoys other dogs (big and small) and has been around cats. He enjoys playing with toys and hanging out on his dog bed.  If your interested in Oscar please fill out an application at bbshonor.rescuegroups.org Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 11, 2024, 12:03 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.TEDDY is available! 24-038 Teddy is a 4-year-old neutered male Golden Doodle.  Teddy began having seizures in January 2023, but due to some confusion on dosages and vet changes with his original family, he was having seizures periodically. He is currently on a regular time schedule for his meds, is eating a special neuro food, and his seizures are short, not severe, and he recovers well. His foster describes him as social, fun, loveable, and good with other dogs. He loves to watch movies and tv - especially if there are dogs in the movie.  He loves to interact with people. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.INDI is available! 24-055 Indi is a 4-year-old spayed female Golden Doodle.  She is described as having good energy, a sweet disposition and loves to be with her humans.  Indi has had some basic obedience training but does not like other dogs. She must be adopted to an only dog home at this point. AGR wants Indi to succeed and be the best companion she can be. Once she is adopted, we will pay for a two or three week training program at Partners Dog Training School, or other acceptable facility, to work with Indi's issues with other dogs. Indi's new family must be willing to attend the prepaid follow-up classes. There will be no cost to the adopter for this extra training. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.SUMMER is available! 24-049 Summer and 24-048 Spring were found huddled under a bush in southwest Glendale. They are very playful and friendly puppies; we think they are about 5 months old. Even though they play with each other, they still love to get attention from anyone in the vicinity. Wouldn't it be fun to have two such happy, carefree puppies to raise? They have their basic vaccinations at this point and will be spayed at AGR's expense when they are an appropriate age. We can't guarantee the mix, but we think they are doodles. Summer and Spring's foster gave us this update about this adorable pair. Lovely blend of fun and playful but calm and quiet!  Curious and playful yet calm temperaments, good natured House trained - not using resident doggie door Crate trained - no accidents over night Good with resident dogs Not exposed to cats Love people - have done well with elementary aged and up Quiet Love toys and water Great in the car Will need leash work Can’t guarantee breed but doodle / terrier mix? Believe they will stay small in size Spring: a little more independent and the snuggler Summer: a little more timid but a lover once she’s comfortable Please note: it is the policy of AGR not to place a dog less than 3 years of age with a family that has children less than 3 years of age. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.WILEY is available!  24-063 Wiley is  4-month-old unaltered male Golden Doodle. Wiley is described as being curious, energetic, loving and a cuddler.  He lived with a 10 year old dog and 2 cats but no children.   He has his basic vaccinations and will be neutered at AGR's expense when an appropriate age.    Wiley's foster family said he does well in his crate at night. They think he would be an excellent hiking companion because he stays right with them around the house, yard and when walking in the neighborhood. New sounds get his attention but then he moves on from them.  If you are interested in adopting this dog or any other available AGR dogs, and want to know more about the process, please click here.  Note:  WE DO NOT ADOPT OUTSIDE OF THE STATE OF ARIZONA.
