This gentle girl is looking for a quiet place where she can decompress and settle into her new life. Anna would thrive in a patient household where she can take her time to adjust and feel safe. Once she’s comfortable, she’ll be a loyal, loving companion who is sure to fill your home with joy. If you’re looking for a calm, affectionate dog to join your family and you have the time and patience to help her blossom, Anna just might be the perfect fit. Come meet her today! Here is what Anna’s foster had to say about her! What a sweetie! Anna came to us in pretty rough shape. She didn’t know how to interact with people and was too scared to leave her crate. We’ve had her in our home for a while now and she has certainly come out of her shell! She may take a while to warm up to new people, but once she trusts you she is a sweet and goofy dog that loves to receive tummy rubs! Anna is mostly house trained, and has learned to come and sit (almost always!) on command. She loves going out for walks, but can often be startled easily by people. We are still working on getting her confidence up, so someone with a lot of patience would be best… but she is a fast learner! We think she would do well in a quiet home with another dog or as a solo dog with an experienced dog parent. She is also a highly trained sock thief, so watch your hamper!

Hi there, Charlamagne here!Let me introduce myself, I am happy, go lucky guy who loves life. At a few months shy of 9 years old, they say I am a senior, but I am young at heart and ready to enjoy life.Give me a toy, especially one that squeaks and life is good. I am not really interested in playing fetch, but I do like my toys. I also love spending time in the yard and if I get to chase one of those little critters, I think you call them squirrels that is super fun. Walks are nice too and I am practicing my manners when on a leash. When we are not playing a snuggle or a good belly rub is very nice.In the house I am a great guest, if I do say so myself. I will leave your stuff alone; I know to ask to go outside to do my business and if you think it is necessary I will sleep in my crate......though I would much rather sleep on the couch if that is allowed. A canine friend would be ok though I am not really looking for a playmate so would be happy to have all of your attention.As you can see from my pictures, I always have a smile on my face.
