He’s what many would call a “velcro dog,” happiest when he’s right by your side and soaking up all the attention he can get. Around 11 years old, he loves being touched, is calm and affectionate, and has a gentle, kind nature that makes him an easy companion to have around. Resin is also fully house trained and settles into a routine quickly.In his foster home, Resin does well overall in his crate (he may take a few minutes to settle) and rarely barks. He’s content lounging on the couch when you’re home and relaxes easily. While he’s still learning basic commands, he’s eager to please and thrives on being close to his person. On walks, he does best with a harness since he’s strong, and he may chase small animals if given the chance.Resin would do best in a calm, loving home where he can feel safe and secure. He can be sensitive to raised voices and may shut down if there’s yelling, so a patient, gentle environment will help him shine. Let me tell you a little about myselfAs you can see from my pictures, I am a handsome boy with a beautiful, reddish-brown coat. Getting close to 2 years old, I think I am a mix of a whole lot of fun breeds. My mom had her DNA tested and she is shepherd, chow, chow, hound dog and more. Other than our beautiful coloring, I think I must look more like my dad though I don`t know who he is.I am a very sweet boy, if i do say so myself. I am happy to greet anyone I see. I love to play with the other dog in my foster home. He likes to wrestle sometimes and that is so fun. If I don`t have a canine buddy to play with, I do love toys and a good game of fetch is right up my alley. I also do really well walking on a leash and love exploring the neighborhood.In the house I am well behaved. I don`t like that crate thing but thankfully can be trusted to roam the house. When it comes to bedtime, on the bed as close to the human as possible is my preferred location though if that is not allowed, the couch or even a dog bed if those are the rules of the house will be ok. I am a smart boy and learn new things quickly, especially when treats are involved.Looking for a 4-footed friend to explore with and then snuggle on the couch for movie night?
