Scrapy is a one year old loving puppy. He is pretty hyper and always ready to play. He loves food, super food oriented that’s the best way of getting his attention and him listening. He’s beautifully brown/tan with a great smile.

You will need to retrain if you do not have a doggy door. Messi happily shares toys and treats with his siblings. He has not shown guard them from any of the dogs or people. You will often find him with a stuffy gently gnawing on them. I love how confident, playful, and curious he is. He wants to make sure he is not missing out on all the fun! He definitely gravitates towards the kids more than his siblings. Messi has a great easy going personality. The way to heart is through food. He KNOWS when dinner time is and will wait as loooong as he needs for it in the kitchen. It is one of the cutest things to watch! No jumping on his legs, no barking, just sitting and patiently watching. Messi’s foster dad spends time with him and his siblings every evening after work, making sure they receive plenty of playtime, affection, and positive socialization. Messi did great meeting a senior female Pitbull and a small male terrier. He was inquisitive but respectful and then wanted to play with them. He is wiggly in a balanced way, he doesn’t overwhelm the dogs, people or children. Messi loved, loved the company of the new dogs he met. He specifically kept wanted to keep playing with he small dog. His sweet mama has the gentle, loving temperament Golden Retrievers are known for, and it’s clear these puppies inherited every bit of it. She has done a fantastic job of showing her puppies all the important skills and social cues a puppy needs. She has been raised alongside the foster’s personal large male German Shepherd and a 7-month-old baby, giving them an incredible foundation for family life. When I went to meet them for the first time, I had my 4 year old niece with me and I immediately noticed that they were not jumping on her, biting at ankles or clothes 😅 In fact one of the times that I went to visit I thought no one was home because there was no barking outside or in the house when I approached the fence or went inside! They are affectionate without being overwhelming, curious without being wild, and so far have shown themselves to be remarkably quiet puppies. They would much rather cuddle up beside you, trot around the back yard or gnaw on a toy than bark for attention. Their fluffy coats and sweet personalities make them impossible not to fall in love with. If teddy bears could magically turn into puppies, we're pretty sure they'd look exactly like Birdie. At just five months old, Birdie is a Golden Retriever mix (our best guess!) with the sweetest scruffy little face, the softest caramel-colored coat, and the kind of soulful puppy eyes that could convince you to hand over every treat in your pocket. She has adorable floppy ears, fuzzy little eyebrows, and the most endearing puppy expression that makes her look like she's always saying, "Can we be best friends?" Some puppies are sunshine in dog form, and Ella is one of them. Even when she's feeling a little shy, she somehow always has the sweetest smile on her face. Ella is about five months old, and we think she's a Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever mix. She has the softest golden coat, the floppiest little ears, warm puppy eyes, and the cutest fuzzy face that practically begs for forehead kisses. At our 2 acre Texas based property, we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group training and socialization play groups helping them stay confident, well rounded, and adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers are dedicated to each dog’s growth and we enjoy seeing their progress! We go above and beyond to ensure every animal receives exceptional care. Veterinarians consistently praise our medical standards. From routine care to advanced treatments, each dog receives personalized attention. Hard costs for a healthy dog range from $804-$920; heartworm-positive dogs or those needing specialized care can exceed $2,000+. Adoption fees help cover a portion of these expenses, but without government funding, we rely on fundraising to bridge the gap—ranging from $100–$1,000+ per dog. Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.
