Story
**Please note this is pet is currently out of town but we will transport this pet when adopted. All fees listed include transport fees.** All dogs deserve a great home but some dogs have stories that just break your heart and make you cheer for them just a little more. Dogs like Rowdy deserve a family to show him that his experience up until FWFP with humans are not typical! Rowdy wad dumped in rural Oklahoma in a place famous for dog dumps. He was just a 4 month old little puppy that was sick and left out in the winter cold. He almost did not survive. Today, he is a 3 year old, healthy 37 pound Golden Retriever/ Aussie mix. He loves children, adults, seniors and other dogs! NO CATS! Rowdy is a well mannered little fella. Even though Rowdy has lived on a farm, he is not a digger nor does he climb fences. Rowdy is perfectly crate trained and housebroken. He rides in the car with no problem but needs a little more work with leash training. He needs a new family that can give him more attention and help him with leash training. Rowdy loves to be spoiled with smoked marrow bones and lots of hugs and kisses!. Story
Looking to rehome our golden retriever mix, Vera Lorraine. She is just over a year old, fully house-trained and kennel-trained. She walks well with a harness and does great on car rides. She is very friendly and sweet. Vera has a high level of energy and needs daily exercise and activity. I am rehoming her because I do not have the time she needs to match her activity level. She would do best with someone active who enjoys walks, runs, hiking, or spending time outdoors. She has been around children and does well with them. She has not been around other animals.
