Story
JujuBee is a fabulous two year old girl who is ready for adventure and fun. She is from a litter (of golden doodles (dad) and a reservation dog shepherd) that we had about two years ago. The current family is concerned that she is not getting everything she needs because of their time constraints. She is crate trained and house trained, fabulous with children (original owners have four!) and would like to be able to adventure. She loves everyone and has beautiful black retriever fur and rez dog eyes that see everything. She is fabulous and loved but wants to go for walks and hikes and playtime and unfortunately there is just so much going on at the house they feel she would be happier in a place where she will get out more and that can offer more fulfilling experiences. Let's find this girl her forever! DNA has been completed.

Adoption Fee: $475 When available, all animals are fixed in accordance with Colorado law, up to date on vaccines (may need boosters), and microchipped! What we know: Local owner surrender. Her owners were moving and were unable to take her with them. She is approximately 1 year old. Grooming appointment Feb. 2nd. *Please note that, despite being a year old, Gypsy is still working on potty-training. She did not appear to have any amount of training when she was surrendered. UPDATE: after 5 days of working on it, Gypsy is doing substantially better with potty-training, but will likely need the same amount of time and structure of going outside frequently to be at the same point in a new home.* From the foster: Shy and hesitant of new people, Gypsy warms up quickly and bonds hard to her person. Gypsy would do best in a home that is prepared to provide proper monthly grooming (this can cost $100 or more per month but is NOT optional, required for her breed), can work on providing consistency and training, and is able to be with Gypsy more than she would be alone. Gypsy has loved having another dog her size to wrestle with, and seems most open when she has a dog playmate.
