Story
Personality: He is awesome with children, we have 3 under 8yo. He is good with other dogs. Cats I'm not sure as we have never been around but he likes chasing squirrels in our backyard. Not leash trained. Crate trained and housebroken. He knows "sit down" and is very smart/trainable. Max is a sweet dog but with a severe adult PTSD. We are pretty sure he run from an abusive home and even after 2 years with us, he still fears adults he doesn't know. So taking him to the vet is an adventure. Grooming is impossible. We tried even with groomers specialized with anxious dogs and Max would not let them cut his hair. No history of biting or aggression, though he barks like crazy to adults he doesn't know but do not attack them when they come inside, instead he runs away. He would need someone patience that would be willing to train him well to trust other adults other than regular caregivers.

Story
8 month old, 45 lb Delilah is the total package: a sweet, loving girl who is ready to become someone’s best friend. While she can be a little shy when meeting new people, it doesn’t take much for her to come out of her shell. Give her a little patience, a quiet environment, and plenty of love, and you’ll quickly see what a wonderful dog she is. Her foster says Delilah absolutely adores children, more than any dog they’ve ever met! She would thrive in a family environment and is the kind of dog that fits perfectly into the picture of a loving home filled with laughter, playtime, and companionship. Delilah would love a fenced yard where she can safely explore and keep an eye on the squirrels that catch her attention. She’s still working on some of her basic training, including potty training, so her forever family should be committed to continuing her progress and helping her build confidence. She gets along well with other dogs but doesn’t require a canine companion in her new home. Whether she’s your one-and-only or joining an existing pack, Delilah’s biggest requirement is simple: she wants to be loved. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion who will happily become part of the family, Delilah may be the perfect match for you. To adopt her, please apply on www.orphanannierescue.org Her adoption fee is $600, which includes her shots up-to-date, microchipping, spay, and heartworm testing.

Story
Esmé is an ~8 month old, 41 lb doodle mix. Esmé has a vibrancy for life and loves to explore. As a typical young dog, she needs frequent mental stimulation and exercise to keep her entertained. She's a very smart girl and a quick learner, and loves treats. She loves other dogs and would do well with another young dog to play with. She is curious about cats but has not bothered them or shown any aggression towards them. Esmé is a sweet dog, who loves attention and being with her people. Esmé is crate trained, has been doing well with house training, and is working on leash training. Esmé would love a family to spend her forever with! To adopt her, please apply on www.orphanannierescue.org Her adoption fee is $600, which includes her shots up-to-date, microchipping, spay, and heartworm testing.
