Story
Meet Apollo! Apollo is a smart and goofy 18 month old Goldendoodle who loves to play fetch and hang out with his humans. He is potty trained when prompted and let out often. He is crate trained but doesn’t like to be in there too long or alone for a very long time. Apollo loves to play with other dogs but still has puppy energy so he is still learning the rules of play. He has been trained and knows sit, stays on place and enjoys his walks on a leash. He’s about 35 lbs and still needs to gain more weight. He is very vocal so you will always know who is at your door or coming in a room. Ideally, he will need a fenced in yard because of his love of fetch and need to get extra puppy energy out. Apollo is very high energy and starts every morning ready to play and in such a good mood. He loves attention and chewing on his toys- he will even toss the ball to himself! Thank you for your interest in one of our Hero Babies! Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies. Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered. Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption. He’ll be turning 3 years old this December and is full of love and energy. ✨ About him: Male, not neutered Up to date on all shots Extremely friendly and social — great with kids and people Potty trained Listens very well at home, but once he’s outside around other people or dogs, he gets excited and doesn’t always listen Pulls on the leash and will need some obedience training Loves to play and be around others He would do best with an active family or someone who can give him plenty of playtime and consistency with training. He’s truly a sweetheart with a goofy, loving personality — just needs a bit more structure and outdoor manners to thrive. Story
Ace is my playful, loyal, and energetic pup who has been a part of my life since he was just a tiny ball of fur. I got him from a local rescue, and he’s grown into a smart, affectionate, and goofy companion who always knows how to make me laugh. Ace loves long walks, car rides, and any toy that squeaks. He’s about 7 months old now and has such a big heart he’s great with people and enjoys being the center of attention. I’m looking for a new home for Ace where he’ll get plenty of love, space to run, and a family who will treat him like the special boy he is. If I had to describe him in a few words: loyal, curious, goofy, and full of love.
