Cookie is 7-8 years old. We got him many years ago when we first moved into our current house. He often ran to the other side of the neighborhood when we took him off the leash outside. He's a bit shy, but he gets very chaotic and loud at home, especially if you take him outside. He doesn't do well with being left alone, and he will scratch the doors if you leave him in an enclosed room. I hope he finds someone understanding and patient, but can still love him.

While he loves to play, he is also a respectful companion who settles quietly when you need to focus. He is house-trained and follows commands like sit, come, and stay. He also walks very well on a leash. Ideal Home: He would thrive with a family or owner who has plenty of time for regular walks and play. He is a fantastic fit for homes with children or other dogs seeking a best friend. Monty brings constant affection and joy to everyone he meets. Reason for Rehoming: Due to a demanding career and an upcoming relocation where I cannot bring him, I am looking for a loving home that has the time and energy Monty deserves.
