Meet Oakley
Oakley is a 3-year-old Great Dane with a gentle heart and an affectionate, loyal personality.
Oakley can be shy at first, especially with men or unfamiliar situations, but once he feels safe, he becomes incredibly loving and devoted to his people. He enjoys being close to his humans, relaxing around the house, sunbathing in the yard, and joining for leisurely walks. His foster describes him as a “Velcro dog” who simply wants companionship and stability.
He is leash trained, crate trained, potty trained, and rides well in the car. Oakley gets along well with other dogs, has been respectful around cats, and would likely do best with older or supervised children due to his timid nature and sensitivity while building trust.
Oakley is looking for a patient adopter who understands shy dogs and will give him the time, consistency, and reassurance he needs to continue blossoming. He does not require a perfect home - just a compassionate one willing to help him feel secure, supported, and loved.

All approved applications are good for 12 months. Meet and greets can be scheduled with approved adopters. All dogs adopted from Just Giants Rescue are up to date on vaccines (Rabies, DHPP, Bordetella), microchipped, and spayed or neutered. Some exceptions may apply. All adoption fees are non-refundable; Just Giants is a NFP 501(c)3 organization.
Meet and greets can be scheduled with approved adopters.
Transportation from the foster home to the adopter is the responsibility of the adopter to coordinate. Just Giants does not adopt outside of the continental US.
