He's a gentle giant with a bark that could scare a bear, a personality that will keep you laughing, and absolutely no understanding of personal space. This sweet boy wants nothing more than to be close to his people, and when we say close, we mean CLOSE! Whether he's climbing into your lap for cuddles or performing his signature move of burying his face into your stomach while you're standing, Barry is determined to make sure you always know just how much he loves you. Barry is incredibly affectionate, but he also has a sensitive side that his future family will need to understand. He bonded almost immediately with his foster mom, while learning to trust his foster dad took a little more time. Initially, Barry was fearful of him and expressed that fear through growling and barking. With patience, gentle reassurance, walks together, and plenty of high-value treats, the two became best buddies! Barry did experience another moment of uncertainty when his foster dad arrived home late one evening, but with some reassurance, they were able to rebuild that trust. Since then, their relationship has continued to blossom, and Barry has even had positive interactions with other men. These experiences have shown us that Barry is capable of building wonderful relationships, but he needs people who understand that trust sometimes takes time. His future family should be prepared to move at his pace, respect his boundaries, and help him feel safe in unfamiliar situations, particularly around men. One thing Barry absolutely LOVES is other dogs! He's currently living with two large female foster siblings and couldn't be happier about it. He enjoys following them around, inviting them to play, and simply being part of the pack. Despite being significantly bigger than his foster sisters, he's surprisingly respectful of their boundaries and generally backs off when they let him know playtime is over. There has been one brief disagreement involving resources, so continued supervision and thoughtful management around valued items will be important. Overall, Barry has shown himself to be a social boy who truly enjoys canine companionship. Barry is also a smart cookie who loves showing off what he knows, especially when treats and affection are involved! He already knows "sit" and "down" and is working on "stay" and "wait." He's extremely food motivated, which makes training a rewarding experience. His leash manners are still a work in progress, particularly when those tempting neighborhood squirrels make an appearance, but he's already showing improvement with consistent guidance. Around the house, Barry has been a wonderful companion. After a few nervous accidents when he first arrived, he quickly settled in and demonstrated that he is potty trained. He's also an excellent crate companion! He willingly goes into his crate for meals, bedtime, and when his foster parents are away. He sleeps quietly through the night, although once the sun comes up, he'll politely remind you that it's time to start the day. Barry has done well with a 13-year-old neighbor, but he is not recommended for a home with toddlers or very young children. His compatibility with cats remains unknown, and because he has shown interest in chasing squirrels, a home without cats may be the better fit until his behavior around them can be properly evaluated. Barry recently underwent neuter and cherry-eye surgery on October 6. During his veterinary care, a lung infection was also discovered, and he has been receiving antibiotics. He's recovering well, and even through the discomfort of surgery and recovery, his sweet, affectionate personality has continued to shine. His medical recovery and any remaining treatment needs will be important considerations as he prepares for his forever home. Barry's ideal family will understand that behind his impressive size and booming bark is a sensitive boy who wants desperately to love and be loved. He'll thrive with patient, confident adopters who can provide consistency, positive reinforcement, continued training, and reassurance when he's feeling uncertain. Experience with giant breeds would be especially beneficial, as would an understanding of fearful behaviors and the importance of allowing a dog to build trust at his own pace. For the right family, Barry has so much to offer. He's goofy, affectionate, playful, intelligent, and endlessly devoted once he feels secure. This happy-go-lucky puppy believes everyone she meets is her new best friend, and she's always ready to spread a little joy wherever she goes. Whether she's romping around the yard with her canine friends, exploring her surroundings, or proudly pulling every single toy out of the toy bin, Autumn knows how to make everyday life an adventure. Like most puppies, Autumn has two speeds: full-speed fun and completely exhausted! She loves a good play session and has plenty of that adorable puppy energy, but once she's worn herself out, she's more than happy to curl up on the couch for some cuddles or settle in for a long, well-deserved nap. She hasn't been tested with cats yet, but given her young age, she may be able to learn to live peacefully with feline friends through patient, supervised introductions. As a Dane/Mastiff mix, Autumn has plenty of growing left to do, and her future family should be ready for all the joys and responsibilities that come with raising a giant breed puppy. Indigo (Indy) is an extremely affectionate dog and is adamant about seeking pets and hugs from her foster mom. Indy is a little hesitant upon first meeting someone but she warms up quickly, especially with treats, and likes to lean on the person for affection.  Indy is an energetic dog who gets the zoomies and "bounces" the minute she's let outside. She isn't aware of her size and strength when playing, therefore a family with older children would be recommended. Although Indy has been diagnosed with mild degenerative joint disease in her right hip it doesn't seem to slow her down. Her foster mom jokes that Indy has 2 speeds: full throttle and sleep mode. Indy would do well with an active family to help her burn off some of her energy. Indy has been treated for heartworm and will have no lasting negative health effects from it. She is back to her zoomies and loving life! Indy is extremely food motivated which should make basic training easy, however she shows some fearfulness complying with training commands. She will need a family with patience to continue her training. She has learned what "nose off the counter/table" means and complies well.  Indy is potty trained and lets her foster mom know when she needs to go out by jingling the bells hanging on the back doorknob. She is crated when her foster mom goes to work but is left out during the night. She is a really good girl! Banjo was just a tiny little fella when his litter was dropped off to one of our dedicated fosters. It was quickly clear that these puppies were overrun with worms and unfortunately Banjo was the only one to survive.. Banjo is about 90% blind and has epilepsy (which is well managed) so he needs a special family that will understand his medical needs and be a calm leader when he experiences seizures. He has come a long way and we know that there is a family out there that can see passed his special needs and love him all the same. He does require medication for his seizures twice a day at meal times. Banjo is good with everyone! Including kids. He also loves being with other dogs and is neutral toward cats in his foster home. He is still very young so he does need to be crated when left alone but he has a great foundation for crating thanks to his foster. Banjo rides well in the car and is excellent for bath time. He LOVES food and thinks toys are less exciting. But dont worry his favorite games involve interacting with his people. Banjo is currently in PA but he can be transported to an approved adopter. This special boy needs a special family!

Chunk is 5 years old and has lived with his brother Pickles since birth. He is 87 pounds and loves the outside. He is very sweet and caring. He loves kids, loves playing fetch —but only if he wants otherwise he just wants to feel the breeze outside. He usually relaxes, but does have fun with his brother playing. He loves belly rubs and will even roll on his back for them. He sleeps on a crib mattress or a chair. He gets too hot sleeping in a bed. He absolutely loves string cheese. He will cuddle when he wants to.
