Gremlin is being fostered in NC. Howdy, I'm Gremlin, a 6 month old Great Dane, but don't worry, you CAN get me wet and I won't turn into Spike! I actually LOVE playing in water. My foster Mommy says I am a gentle giant, but I am still a baby and very playful. I need to learn my commands by touch because I cannot see or hear. And, well, I can be a little slower and I need repetitiveness with my training so I can be a very good boy. My foster Mommy is working with me on my manners, but I can be a bit slow because I have a great nose for food wherever it is heehee. It takes me a little time to navigate a new area, but I will get it, just be patient with me. Right now, I have a Cane Corso foster sister to play with and I love playing tug and wrestle with her. I am already potty and crate trained! When I wake in the morning, I will bark to let you know I has to go outside to do my business. I also walk well on a leash. The bestest thing I really love is to have my ears rubbed and to cuddle with humans. I don't know why they feel squished, after all, I'm the same size as a chihuahua aren't I LOL I just want my very own family to love me and guide me along my journey in this life. And, of course, to cuddle with furever. BDRA has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.

Scratch is a 1 year old neutered male great dane/terrier mix who weighs 85 lbs. Scratch is looking for a new home after his person was no longer able to keep him due to landlord issues. This guy has been nothing but sweet, but is clearly confused about why he isn't in his home anymore. He will need a family willing to help boost his confidence as he wasn't socialized much in his previous home. He seems to do well with other dogs and previously lived with a small dog without issue. Scratch has SO much potential and has learned so much already! He loves to be with his people and playing with toys. Fetch is his favorite game! He's done well on walks and hasn't been reactive to those he crosses paths with. He is shy with new people at first, but warms up when he's given a chance to feel safe. Scratch loves bananas and cheese, but hates peanut butter. While he loves to play in true puppy fashion, he's also an expert snuggler. Scratch has always known love from his family and cannot wait to land in another home full of kindness and people who love him. Hello, I am Quinn! I came to the shelter as a stray along with a doggie friend. However, we are not a bonded pair and are looking for our own furever homes. I may enjoy living with another dog again, as long as they are fairly calm, because I tend to be a nervous nelly. I am open to living with children of all ages as long as they can respect that I am shy and sensitive at first (I don't seem to know my own size!). I am not sure how I feel about cats but I am willing to try with proper introduction. It may take me some time to come out of my shell, but with patience I will surely be a loving and personable pooch. Luka is a Great Dane mix, around 8-9 months old and not neutered. He’s a sweetie who loves kissing and pretending he’s a lap dog. Big personality but also a sleepy boy. He’s potty trained, crate trained and knows the basics like sit, stay, come, lay down, paw, other paw. He does need some work on the leash.. he doesn’t pull but he stops a lot and gets distracted by people and other dogs. He loves to play with other dogs. Unfortunately, I’m not able to provide the best for him at the moment. I’d love to see him go to a loving home with a yard for him to run, play and enjoy the life he deserves. Rehoming fee is to help enjoy he goes to the best household.
