ADOPT ME ONLINE: https://ophrescue.org/dogs/12689Hi, my name is Beast and I am headed to OPH on the June 9th transport. I am guessed to be 6 month old Great Dane mix. I'm a sweet guy and weigh 60 pounds.I'm making my way north in search of my new family. Is that with you? If so apply today because this cuteness won’t be around for long! This pet is expected to arrive at an Operation Paws for Homes Foster Home soon. If you are interested in adoption, please submit your application so that you may be pre-approved prior to arrival. All pets must be granted a Health Certificate in order to cross state lines and come to the rescue. Obtaining the health certificate is largely dependent on veterinary resources at the originating animal shelter so some pets may not arrive as planned.

Story
Tiny “Dancer” is a handsome young 10 month old, 103 pound Great Dane who has come from a situation that was not good for him.  He is underweight and needs a kinder owner who is filled with love and a desire to humanely train him.  Rescued from a neglectful home we have found this boy to be sweet and loving and adores children.   He is such a GOOFBALL and he loves to play with his other Great Dane who is like a sister to him.  They do not need to be adopted together but could be if someone was looking to do so.  This boy was hit by a car back in October while with his original owner.   A pin was put in but it was not removed as it should have been by the owner with a revisit to the vet.  It created an infection that he is over with now and the pin is removed but he will always have a limp from this lack of good care from his former owner.  It is healed but it did create a limp.  We like to tell all that we know and despite not being perfect, this boy promises to give his most perfect love and keep you laughing at the same time!  If you are interested please email us at ccrtennessee@gmail.   We have just neutered him and also did a lifesaving stomach tack to help him avoid stomach bloat that often occurs in the large breed dogs at a high percentage.  We are giving him health insurance to never die from this quick onset flip of the stomach that often comes out of nowhere.  Contact us if you are interested in Tiny Dancer! ccrnewengland@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.June 5, 2023, 10:13 pm

Story
LOCAL TN ADOPTION ONLY. The good.....He is kennel trained. Goes in very easily with treats. Will run right in if a treat is thrown in there. Will bark for a few minutes but settles. If he’s in a crate, in a room alone and he hears a lot of commotion, he will bark. If you’ve left and the house is quiet, he’s quiet. He’s great in the kennel if someone is in the same room with him though. He likes being with his people. He happily snoozes in an open kennel during the day if you’re working from home and the kennel is near your work area.Scooby is a goof! There’s not much he takes too seriously. Besides treats. Treats are serious business! He will do just about anything for a treat. Even stuff he really doesn’t want to do. But treats are life. He’s overall an easy dog that is sweet, happy, cuddly and isn’t overly energetic. He loves playing and is a bulldozer but he relaxes and naps a lot too. He doesn’t require mass amounts of exercise. He is more than happy to lounge around in bed and watch tv with his humans. The bad...He snores. It’s not quiet...He hates small dogs, if your neighbor has one he will make it his lifes mission to eradicate it. He is generally good on a leash until aforementioned small dog walks up, then he will happily chill with you while you recover from your rotator cuff repair. DISCLOSURE: The adoptable pets in our program are still in the care and custody of owners who wish to re-home their pet. Owners have enlisted Rescue Well to provide marketing and screening of applicants as a service, free of charge. All fees and adoption conditions are determined by the owner. We advise that adopters do not send payment or deposits for pets prior to adopting.  ***** Cute and playful Ford is a Great Dane, Saint Bernard, and Poodle mix; he is 2 1/2 yo, weighs 73lbs., is neutered, is up to date on his vaccines, but is not microchipped.  Ford needs a new as a result of rules changes where he currently lives.  Ford knows basic commands, is great in the vehicle but doesn't like it when his guardians play wrestle w/their children. Ford's guardian explains why she is rehoming him:  " We live on a boat and the marina has recently changed the rules about dogs being outside. He now doesn't have yard space to run and play and with a very hectic schedule, I'm not finding enough time to take him to the park. Short walks aren't cutting it for him and he's been spending more and more time in the crate." Ford will be a great companion with children (lives w/children ages 2 & 5), dogs, and cats, as he's lived with all of them.  He's very friendly and loves kids, but since he doesn't know his size, supervision with small children is necessary.  He's also submissive and playful w/dogs.  Although Ford loves cats, he knows their limitations, so he follows their cue when they show they aren't interested in playing. Ford's guardian describes him as: Very active Playful Friendly Likes to be touched Affectionate Always at your side Indoor dog House-Trained Crate-Trained Likes men Likes women Ford's guardian describes his ideal future home:  " Ford would thrive with a fenced yard and another dog to run around with. Ideally kids that are a little older to play fetch with him. A family who will take him on adventures and include him in all activities."
