Story
Meet June – A Graceful Soul in Great Dane Form   There are dogs… and then there is June. A vision in brindle and white, this 3-year-old, 100-pound Great Dane is the embodiment of quiet majesty and gentle strength. With her long, elegant stride and serene presence, June moves through the world like a gazelle—light on her feet, yet grounded in love.  Rescued by a small town animal control officer, this girl was in a neglect situation and her life was spared from more years of a sad existence.  Today you would never know her heart and soul had been so mistreated. June has not only captured hearts—she has healed them as well as her own. In her foster home, she has proven to be a gentle treasure: housebroken, well-mannered, and endlessly affectionate. She delights in the company of other dogs and finds pure joy in the simple pleasure of play. There is a poetic softness to her, as though she knows what it is to be lost, and what it means to be found.   June is not suited for a home with cats, as her instincts to chase are strong. However, she would thrive in a peaceful home with a securely fenced yard—an open space where she can run with the elegance that seems to be written into her very soul.   To know June is to witness grace in motion. She is a loyal and loving companion, ready to offer her whole heart to the person who opens theirs in return.   If you feel called to give this extraordinary girl the forever home she so deserves, please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com. Your life will be all the more beautiful for it.   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comMay 7, 2025, 9:39 pm

Story
Courtesy post Sweet Mavrik Needs a New Beginning This is one of the hardest posts to write… but it’s for the best. Mavrik is a gentle, goofy soul with the kindest heart — and he needs a new forever home. He’s only about 1.5 years old, still tall, lanky, and learning his way through the world (we think there may be some Great Dane in this handsome boy!). He’s healthy, fully vetted, neutered, and weighs around 65 pounds. Mavrik has separation anxiety and will need some extra help — a mix of medication, training, and most importantly, patience and love. He does not have a single mean bone in his body. He rarely barks, but he gets excited when he sees his doggy friends. He’s silly, sensitive, and trainable with a few yummy treats in hand. His ideal home? Someone home most of the time A calm, doggy role model to show him the ropes A heart big enough to help him feel safe, seen, and supported He’s lived peacefully with a cat (though he likes to paw a bit), and he truly loves everyone he meets. This decision was made with deep heartbreak and selflessness by his loving mama, who only wants what’s best for him. Please, be kind. She’s doing this because she knows Mavrik deserves more attention and stability than she can give right now. The shelter is not an option. We are doing everything to find him a soft place to land. Located in Bel Air, MD Contact Jen at 410-459-3606 Please share. Let’s find this beautiful boy the home he so desperately needs — and the love he so deeply deserves.May 6, 2025, 9:53 pm

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.NOTE- JESSE IS LISTED AS A COURTESY FOR ANOTHER RESCUE ORGANIZATION. PLEASE SEE CONTACT INFO BELOW. Jesse is very friendly. She is good with other dogs and very intelligent. She's fully housebroken and would do well with an active family that will take the time to give her the mental stimulation she needs. Story
Looking for a Loving Home: Sweet Great Dane/Great Pyrenees Mix It breaks our hearts to say goodbye, but we are looking for a wonderful home for our beloved dog, Juno. She is a gentle, affectionate Great Dane and Great Pyrenees mix who adores snuggling, lounging by your side, and being part of the family. Juno is crate trained, listens beautifully, and is amazing with children and other pets. She has such a soft, loving spirit — she truly just wants to be near her people and give love. She is not yet spayed and will need to be brought up to date on her shots. We are only rehoming Juno due to a difficult life change, and this decision has been made with heavy hearts after much thought. She deserves a family who can give her the time, love, and stability she needs. if you think you could give Juno the home she deserves, please reach out. We would love to find her a safe, happy forever home where she will be cherished as much as she is now.
