I’m Duke, and yes… I’m a BIG boy with a BIG heart to match 💕 I came into a shelter in Tennessee weighing a solid 77 lbs and was dealing with cuts, infections, and a rough past. The people who had me before were charged with animal cruelty, but guess what? That chapter is CLOSED 📖❌ and I’m officially free, healed, and ready for a brand‑new life!Now let’s talk about the real me 😄👇I am SUPER friendly and love everyone I meet—especially humans and older kids 🐾👨👩👧 I also have a blast pouncing around the play yard with my dog friends like a clumsy, lovable tank 🐕💨Because I’m basically a mini horse disguised as a dog, I’ll need a big backyard where I can stretch my legs, zoom around, and enjoy life 🌳☀️ When I’m not galloping around, you’ll find me:😎 Laying in the sun🧸 Playing with my toys🦴 Devouring treats like they’re the best invention ever (because they are)🥰 Giving love-bug vibes nonstopOne of my favorite things? If anything is brought to our attention, we treat the dog. After adopting the dog, you will be responsible for following up with all vetting going forward.HEARTWORM NOTE: Dogs who were treated for Heartworm can test positive up to 4-6 months after last treatment. All dogs are immediately put on Heartguard/Ivermectin following the treatment to kill the Heartworm larvae.
