King is a big sweet boy looking for a family to love and spoil him rotten. Though still a puppy at heart, he’s estimated to be 8-9 years old. King weighs about 72 pounds, but will be closer to 80 pounds when he fills out. Despite not having known much human kindness throughout his life, he adores people and loves to be next to someone whenever he can. He gets along with other dogs, but we think he might be happiest as an only dog in the home so that he can soak up all the attention he has been longing for. King is housebroken and has nice house manners, so he hasn’t needed to be crated in his foster home. King’s foster mom says “He’s so playful and sweet! He loves to carry around a toy all the time and especially loves squeaky toys. He is super friendly and will lean up against anyone who pets him. He has been great with my 11 yr old boys. He sleeps in their room and loves to cuddle. He takes food gently, and knows sit and shake commands too.” King is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines and preventives. Dane is a stunning blue merle great dane mix. He is about 8 months old and great with dogs of all sizes and with cats. He was rescued from a small rural shelter where he was slated to be euthanized due to time and space. He is a chill dude who likes to nap, go on walks and hang with his friends. He is currently still in Oklahoma where he was rescued but he can only be adopted out of state where people treat animals well. He has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport at one of our transport drop off locations below. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, we will either find a local foster to take him in or he will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found. I came into the rescue a very skinny girl but I have filled out nicely with the wonderful meals I have received.
