Frank was found in March 2024 with a huge abscess on his head when he was a puppy. He had an orbital fracture. He then went back to his foster's house, after his head got better, and another dog attacked him. All his wounds healed just fine. He now weighs about 60 pounds. We believe he is a Great Dane mix. We guess Steve is a Pitbull/Terrier Mix (Just a Guess as we have no idea on mom or dad). Steve is a happy, smart, playful and loving puppy. Steve already knows sit, lay down, shake, off, and back. He enjoys running and sniffing around the backyard and is also a big fan of squeaky toys. His favorite game is fetch. Steve is in a foster home with cats and does well with them. Steve follows his foster mom everywhere and is an expert at snuggling. Steve is house and crate trained. If you are looking for a happy go lucky addition to your family, Steve is your pup. Because he is a young dog, he will require an adopter who is home a good portion of the day to continue his/her training—no exceptions. Steve is neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and microchipped. Meet George: A Survivor Ready for a Second Chance & Loves to Cuddle! George didn't have the easiest start. Found as a stray, he was so hungry that he survived on anything he could find—even sauce packets (found in his stomach during his neuter). But those days of starvation are behind him. Though he’s still working on reaching his goal weight, his spirit is bigger than his frame. He is a social butterfly at doggy daycare and gets along great with non-dominant dogs. Because of his history, he’s currently a "student" in training, learning that he never has to worry about his next meal again. He’s looking for a patient family who will celebrate his progress and offer him the unconditional love he’s been searching for. Now that he is in a foster home he is settling in nicely, enjoys his mid-day dog walker and is completely trustworthy left out of a crate. He's ready to be a great addition to any family who's ready to love him. Update: Since being in his foster home, Sequoia, who now goes by George, has shown to be house broken, a couch potato, and knows some commands. This beautiful brindle boy loves sitting on the porch or going on walks and does great while wearing his Gentle Leader. He is very friendly to everyone he meets (old and young) and especially loves smelling leaves on trees or bushes. He is also a good car traveler. George would sit in your lap all day if you let him -- he is a huge cuddle bug and very loving Dane.
