His owner had to move and could not take him with her. He lived a lot of his life in Florida but is now back in the DMV. Bogie can by quite the character! He loves toys and people but would prefer to be your one and only. Meaning, he wants to be your only furry friend. Bogie will keep you lauging with his antics and would love for you to be his forever home. Bogie is very large and would do best with someone who is familiar with his breed or large breeds. Please consider bringing Bogie into your home! Given his size and energy level, we recommend a home without small children. A nice yard is a must. This will provide him with the space he needs to romp and play to his heart's content. Bogey needs to learn boundaries and personal space with other dogs and he would really benefit from a home that can provide him with training and guidance in socializing with his canine friends. Bogey's affectionate nature and goofball personality makes him a wonderful potential family member for the right household. It's clear that he just needs someone who understands his needs and breed, and is willing to provide the necessary guidance and training to ensure he thrives in a new home. If someone is willing to give him a chance, they will be rewarded with a loyal and entertaining companion.Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.
