Story
I'm in a FOSTER HOME! For more information or to set up a meet-and-greet, email my foster parent at mollywooldridge@gmail.com. Big, handsome, rugged - the boy is a real showstopper for sure. He arrived as a stray, so we don't know his background. He started out shy and bashful but is really coming out of his shell and wants to be friends with everyone. He so wants to be brave, and we've been working with him to show him that he's safe and loved. Little by little, Omelette is starting to wag his tail and give us some soggy doggie kisses! He has such potential to bloom in a proper, caring, and loving home. Omelette is ready to show his happy side and he would love an adopter that can help him reach his potential. Can that hero be you? Please meet him soon and show him the grand life he deserves. Omelette would do well in a home with another dog.

Story
Tall Titan, is a strong and remarkable  Warrior,  a dog that has fought to be alive and walking  today on this earth.  He has willed himself to come from the depths of pain and starvation to become this handsome boy that you see right now.  He is our Super Hero Pup and our example of a creature that has never given up even when it would have been easier to just go to sleep and never wake up.    When Titan came to a rescue lady’s house that Critter Cavalry knows, this boy was malnourished and just a skeleton of the puppy he should be as a Great Dane.  The lady has a love for the Danes and she asked CCR to please take him into our rescue before she fell in love and couldn’t let him go.  She had enough dogs and just felt the temptation to keep him was too great.  We agreed and soon Titan was ours to raise and get prepped for a new home and family.  Shortly afterwards his foster family noticed he was struggling to walk and his joints were inflamed. Titan was taken to several vets before receiving the diagnosis of  Hypertrophic osteodystrophy (HOD). He has been put on a regimen of medications, high calorie food and hydrotherapy and is now running, jumping and playing with other dogs. His favorite things to do are play with toys, run and nap in the sun. Titan is a large dog and will do best in a home with another large dog or two that he will be able to play with. He will continue to need medication intermittently for some time and to be followed by a veterinarian.  If you have large breed dog experience and are willing to take on this fellas special needs please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue. He is not house trained to hold longer than 4 hours.  He needs to eat separately at mealtimes and he needs to learn better how to play with his toys in a group setting if there are other dogs.  If he is the only dog then there is no special monitoring.   Titan rides like a champ in the car or truck and he is definitely crate trained with good dog/name recall.  He would be easier to watch in the yard if you had a real physical fence installed since he likes to wander off out of curiosity.   Please email Critter Cavalry at ccrtennessee@gmail.com if you are interested.  He is great with young children/boys that are rough and tumble and lots of noise. PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comMarch 26, 2024, 11:20 pm

His enthusiasm for people, playing, and hugging makes him a real "Mr. Personality." He enjoys attention and soft toys, brings joy and laughter to everyone he meets!Given his size and energy level,we reccomend a home without small children. A nice yard is a must. This will provide him with the space he needs to romp and play to his heart's content. Bogey needs to learn boundaries and personal space with other dogs and he would really t benefit from a home that can provide him with training and guidance in socializing with his canine friends.Bogey's affectionate nature and goofball personality makes him a wonderful potential family member for the right household. It's clear that he just needs someone who understands his needs and breed, and is willing to provide the necessary guidance and training to ensure he thrives in a new home. If someone is willing to give him a chance, they will be rewarded with a loyal and entertaining companion. Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.    Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.       Foster Program:    Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.  For more information on becoming a foster parent, and our Foster Program, visit http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/foster/ or email our Foster Coordinator at foster@k-9lifesavers.orgSPONSOR ME! Help Save Lives!    Make a tax-deductible donation today and help save a life. Story
Meet Patches, a 1-year-old, 100lb Great Dane / Labrador mix. She is the epitome of youthful energy and joy. Her personality is a delightful blend of sweet and goofy, creating a charming presence that is hard to resist. Loyalty is her middle name, and she's always eager to show it, whether it's in the form of playful antics or seeking out her person. Her playful nature is infectious, often leading to bouts of laughter from those around her. Patches can co-exist with cats and loves having dog pals. Let Patches be your friend, companion, and a source of endless entertainment. She is crate and house trained. Patches is seeking a home where she can continue to learn the expectations of being a respectful house guest and how to appropriately show off her exuberant personality. She would love a fenced in yard to run and play while she continues to work on her leash walking skills. This girl is not suited for apartment living. She is extremely trainable and will make a wonderful companion. Her lively spirit and unwavering loyalty make her the perfect addition to any family seeking a lifelong companion. The adoption fee for this dog is $350 which includes routine vetting and spay/neuter. PetConnect Rescue cannot guarantee the exact breed of any animal in our care. Story
The weather is warming up and this big, goofy, gentle giant, love bug is ready to frolic in a yard with you. He isn`t shy about asking for pets by nudging at a human`s hand. He is happiest running around, sprawled out on the couch or his bed, or chewing on large bones. His inquisitive goofy personality is admirable. Zorro loves meeting new dog buddies and wouldn`t mind having a canine sibling. New environments and sounds can be a little scary for Zorro, so he would appreciate a quiet, consistent environment with some human(s) that are willing to take it slow with him. In exchange for your patience, he will reward you graciously with lots of affection and tail wags. He is looking for a home with a yard, so his personality can truly flourish! He has lived successfully with two social cats and enjoys hanging around kids of all ages!
