Story
Mando is a big ol’ cuddle bug! He LOVES lovin’s. He loves people, kids, walks, toys, cuddles, and kisses. Mando was found at a home as a 5 month old puppy on a chain with no food or water. The owner was approached and eventually surrendered him. This poor boy is now 10 months old and has lived in a shelter his entire life. Mando would thrive in a home and deserves one of his very own. He is wonderful with other dogs and is untested with cats. Mando is a 10 month old male Dane mix who is approximately 60 lbs. He is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Mando is a big boy and still puppy playful, so he may be too much for small children. Fence required. This furbaby is located at Animal Harbor in southern middle TN. You can apply at www.animalharbor.org. If approved, we will facilitate a virtual meet and greet and answer any questions you may have. We partner with the awesome transport service company Rescue Riders to safely and professionally move our animals to their loving new homes!

Damon is now a whopping 70 lbs and fully vetted! He is housebroken, and will go to the backdoor to tell you he needs to potty. He is also crate trained and sleeps through the night. He has been getting professional training and is doing so well. He is learning to trust new people and did great at adoption. Damon is super happy when he meets other dogs and would do well in a multi dog home.  He has a lot of puppy energy, but he more than makes up for it with love. He has a lot of love to give, and will make someone very happy.Accuracy is not guaranteed; however, information provided is accurate to the best of our knowledge.  For more information on the pet, please send an email to info@aforeverhome.org April 29, 2024, 12:35 pm

Story
Meet Keeley! This absolutely gorgeous noble-headed two year old Great Dane mix is 78 pounds of gentle affectionate sweetness. She loves all people, gets along with the resident dog, walks well on a lead, is house trained, potty trained and can totally be trusted uncrated in the house. She knows basic commands, sleeps happily through the night on her bed, and she LOVES car rides - also loves walks but is not super high energy. Keeley is "just perfect" according to foster mom - she is very personable and affectionate and would love a home with as much attention and love as she can get. Her puppies have found their forever families and it's Keeley's turn - she is SO ready for a family of her own. Apply now for this special girl! Keeley is up to date on vaccines and will be spayed when she has gained weight and is fully recovered from having puppies. The adoption fee for this dog is $425 which includes routine vetting and spay/neuter. PetConnect Rescue cannot guarantee the exact breed of any animal in our care. Story
Toby-at-a-glance: 3-year-old, male, neutered, Great Dane/Plott Hound mix, up-to-date on core vaccines, heartworm negative, and microchipped. Toby is on monthly tick/flea/heartworm prevention.  Toby is the cutest wiggle butt! Every morning, he does a full-body wiggle to start his day. He is well-versed in high fives and kisses. Being taken in by his foster family/Lovepaws from an overcrowded, high-kill shelter, this sweet boy is very loving and affectionate with an affinity for walks, chew toys, and his bed/crate. He has done well with older children, even playfully stealing a fluffy toy from the youngest member of his foster family, and his foster parent reports he will likely be good with younger ones too. Toby is an active dog who would enjoy a nice yard with a tall fence and lots of walks/runs. He would be eager to go on adventures with his new human(s). Once he gets his exercise, he is content to settle down and cuddle/chew on his toys. His foster reports he may have seasonal allergies and is fascinated by small animals/birds. Toby is graceful, and fast, with the most beautiful shiny coat! If you are looking for a snuggly, active buddy to accompany you on adventures, Toby is the one for you!  Interested in adopting? Of course, you are! If you are interested in adopting this dog,  please fill out an Adoption Questionnaire at  https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/43315/generic.  You can learn about the adoption process by visiting: http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/howtoadopt/.  Dog's Name:   Bogie  (BOG0523OWSMN)Estimated Breed:   Pointer / Great Dane MIXApproximate Age:   5-6 yearsApproximate Weight:  94 lbsCurrently Living at:   BoardingAdoption Fee:   $400DOG'S DESCRIPTION:  Bogie is a delightful and energetic guy with a lot of love to give! His enthusiasm for people, playing, and hugging makes him a real "Mr. Personality." He enjoys attention and soft toys, brings joy and laughter to everyone he meets!Given his size and energy level,we reccomend a home without small children. A nice yard is a must. This will provide him with the space he needs to romp and play to his heart's content. Bogey needs to learn boundaries and personal space with other dogs and he would really t benefit from a home that can provide him with training and guidance in socializing with his canine friends.Bogey's affectionate nature and goofball personality makes him a wonderful potential family member for the right household. It's clear that he just needs someone who understands his needs and breed, and is willing to provide the necessary guidance and training to ensure he thrives in a new home. If someone is willing to give him a chance, they will be rewarded with a loyal and entertaining companion. Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.    Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.       Foster Program:    Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.  For more information on becoming a foster parent, and our Foster Program, visit http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/foster/ or email our Foster Coordinator at foster@k-9lifesavers.orgSPONSOR ME! Help Save Lives!    Make a tax-deductible donation today and help save a life.
