Tengu is a sweet, goofy XL puppy. He is in foster with other dogs but is dog-selective and has an “alpha” personality. He prefers to be where his humans are - chilling out watching tv, helping you cook, following you to the bathroom, playing fetch in the backyard - and would love a home with hiking, camping, and family adventures. He loves following you around like a shadow, but can also be overprotective of his humans, typical of guardian breeds. He can be reactive on leash around strangers, so an experienced handler ready to train is a must.

Luna is a 1 1/2 year old female Great Pyremees mix dog that recently had a litter and appeared to have been dumped on the streets near my home. Luna was wondering during the hotest part of the summer and malnourished. I picked Luna up and took her to our local Animal Shelter that scanned her and there was no microchip. I surrended Luna and 14 days later went to visit Luna at the shelter and the dog she was housed with attacked her in front of us. I ended up adopting her. Luna has been spayed, given all shots and microchipped. Luna has an issue with her left hip. I have not had it X-Rayed as of yet. I have her on an anti inflammatory and she is doing well. Luna has lost most of her fur but it will grow back. Luna is a sweet dog, she listens well. I currently have 3 large dogs and finding that 4 is a bit much at my age. Luna reqires a fenced in yard and I want to view the house and yard before I give the dog to anyone. Please be in Southern California because I can not drive further.

Ronin is the sweetest boy and loves to be cuddled. He is a big lap dog. He followed my husband and I home on a walk around our neighborhood and was extremely starved. He had no microchip or collar. We posted on many sites to try and find the owner but no one claimed him. He has been in our household for two years and we have two other dogs. Him and my male sometimes get into tiffs (which is known for Great Prynees- they don’t like same sex dogs). He does really well with my baby, but having three dogs and an infant has reached my capacity. He would thrive in a household with one other female dog or just himself. He is a protector of the house. You will need at least 6 foot fences around your yard or he will escape. He does okay on a leash if you have a harness or gentle leader. I’m hoping to find a home that will love this sweet, smart, beautiful boy just as much as we have these past years.
