Story
Hi, I’m BruceI’m a big, gentle guy who loves meeting new humans and hanging out wherever you are. Most days you’ll find me lounging, but I’ll happily show you my playful side from time to time. Head scratches, ear scratches, I can`t get enough of them and will let you know if you missed a spot with a gentle nudge of my paw. I’ve lived with another large dog before, and I’m still figuring out how I feel about new dogs. Sometimes I’m curious and playful, sometimes unsure — and Huskies are definitely not my favorite. I’d love a home that can help me keep building confidence around other pups. If you want a calm, loyal companion who’s happiest by your side, I’m ready to be your gentle giant.

Story
Willow has always been a very sweet girl. She very energetic and goofy but just happy all the time. She loves cuddles and play time. Willow never started the fights with our other dog who is older (6) whereas Willow is 2 and a half. The other dog, Zoe, has had problems before with dogs but we got Willow as puppy so we thought she would be okay with her but as Willow got older and bigger she got snappy and then about 6 months started fights with her. We also don’t have the space that Willow needs to get her energy out and we just think she could have a better life with someone else.

Story
She's 3 may 22nd German Shepard Great Pyrenees mix she is 1 of 11. She went through boarding training she knows commands sit, stay, leave it. Crate trained and house trained. She does have food aggression, is timid at first but once she warms up she just wants pets and love she is not aware of how big she is so she thinks she's a lap dog at times. She a very loving dog and I think one if she was placed with someone who can work with her more around other animals cause he breed is a working dog breed she'd be great she's very smart however even though we tried so socialize her with other dogs she does get reactive sometimes. Food aggression is the biggest issue where I feel like if she was in a home just her as the only pet she'd be perfect. I have a 10 and 18 yr old she's great with them I don't know how she is with younger aged kids. So older kids and the only pet home I think would be best unless you have experience. This was a hard decision just want her to go to a loving home

Story
Three puppies, two males named Tommy Boy and Trouble, and one female named Robin, were found as strays and taken to a kill shelter in Orange County. Tommy Boy and Robin both had parvo and Trouble had a fractured back leg. The AALOC team knew these young dogs didn’t stand a chance with their medical issues and would be euthanized, so a volunteer pulled them out of the kill shelter to receive the medical attention they needed and the chance to find forever homes at AALOC. Tommy Boy was treated for his parvo and has fully recovered. Tommy Boy’s coat is white and he is the biggest of the three puppies. We believe he is a Great Pyrenees mix but will probably not grow as large as a full bred Great Pyrenees. Tommy Boy is very playful and very sweet. He likes to be the center of attention and loves pets. We recommend he be adopted by someone who can provide the exercise he will need as a very active dog. Please apply to adopt Tommy Boy at www.AALOC.org. Once your application is reviewed and approved we will contact you to make an appointment to visit us at AALOC to meet Tommy Boy and get to know him a bit. Adoption donation includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, and a microchip. Applications require a veterinary reference and home visit. We adopt to residents of Orange County, CA and surrounding areas. Please note: For families with children, we require children to be 10 years of age or older, although exceptions are made depending on the circumstances. For more information on our adoption policies visit our website at www.AALOC.org or contact us by e-mail at aaloc@aaloc.org.

Not good with kids, Not good with dogs, Not good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Tengu is a sweet, goofy XL puppy. He is in foster with other dogs but is dog-selective and has an “alpha” personality. He prefers to be where his humans are - chilling out watching tv, helping you cook, following you to the bathroom, playing fetch in the backyard - and would love a home with hiking, camping, and family adventures. He loves following you around like a shadow, but can also be overprotective of his humans, typical of guardian breeds. He can be reactive on leash around strangers, so an experienced handler ready to train is a must.
