Story
Meet Frankie – Co-Pilot, Cuddlebug, Chaos Coordinator Age: Puppy Breed: Certified Goofball (with a diploma from Petco!) Frankie is absolutely a character. This little guy doesn’t just want to go on car rides — he wants to supervise them. From your shoulder. While you're driving. Is it legal? Questionable. Is it adorable? Absolutely. With boundless puppy energy and a heart full of love, Frankie is the ultimate adventure buddy. He’d be the perfect hiking or camping companion — just maybe not your running partner… unless you enjoy zigzagging like a cartoon character. He recently graduated from basic puppy training at Petco (he’s got the diploma to prove it!) and is working hard on perfecting that “good boy” lifestyle. He's smart, affectionate, a little goofy, and a whole lot lovable. Whether he’s hiking trails or attempting to co-pilot your life (literally), Frankie’s guaranteed to keep you laughing and cuddled up in equal measure.

Story
Tengu is a sweet, goofy XL puppy. He is in foster with other dogs but is dog-selective and has an “alpha” personality. He prefers to be where his humans are - chilling out watching tv, helping you cook, following you to the bathroom, playing fetch in the backyard - and would love a home with hiking, camping, and family adventures. He loves following you around like a shadow, but can also be overprotective of his humans, typical of guardian breeds. He can be reactive on leash around strangers, so an experienced handler ready to train is a must.

Story
Claremont CA - Looking for a new home for Scout - Scout is a male Great Pyrenees (unsure if mixed) just under two years old. We adopted him from a shelter just over a year ago when he was approximately 7 months old. He was neutered at about 18 months old. He is up to date on all vaccinations and has no known medical issues. We have a young child and busy schedules so we’re looking for the right home for Scout. He has been good around other dogs and loves his walks and attention as he is very affectionate and enjoys giving hugs to adults. Please contact me if you are interested and I can provide more details. Thanks!

Story
Meet Kamari Rose. She is a beautiful and sweet two year old old pup looking for her forever home. Her DNA test came back with 50% Great Pyrenees and 30% heeler/cattle dog with lots of other breeds mixed in to make up the remaining. Kamari is looking for an active family or individual who enjoys a dog who is active and ready to be up and at your side when you go about your chores around the house, who wants to go-go-go (a nice hike, rigorous neighborhood walk, or playing fetch at the park or in the yard) and then cuddle up for some relaxation back at home. Kamari is curious and friendly. She LOVES meeting new people and wishes everyone would play with her or give her attention. She is highly trainable (treat motivated but also really responsive to verbal praise and gesture/attention as praise. She knows sit and down. She is gentle with children. She can live with other dogs and even cats. She is at once a snuggle bug and an adventurer. She is excited to meet you in the hopes you are a great match!

Story
Pearl has the best attitude, very, very, affectionate and loves to play like she's a tom boy. She keeps up with all the other male puppies when playing and isn't scared to get her beautiful white coat all dirty while doing so. She gets a little excited at times and takes a second to realize if your asking her to do something but realizes quickly if your being adamant on what your saying. She LOVES to play fetch for as long as you will play, brings the ball and will give it right back for another go.*Note that young dogs and pure breeds are at the highest end of our prices.* Please find our applications and valuable information under  "Adopt a dog"* on our website:  *www.beaglesandbuddies.com* and email your application to beaglesandbuddies@gmail.com. Let us know your preference of appointment day/time and which dogs you are interested in and we will do our best to accommodate and email you the closest appointment available. Please allow us up to a week to get back to you. Most appointments will be Friday-Sunday, 10 am - 2 pm, for an hour. *Note bring any other dog/s and the entire family to your meet and greet at B&B.* A complimentary training manual is included with each adoption, authored by terristeuben.com. Check out her website - she is fabulous! B&B is glad to be open during the pandemic. We know the value and comfort of a loving pet companion and are doing our best to help the dogs and folks who need them. We update our website daily and are always rescuing, vetting, rehabilitating, socializing. &#226&#128&#139 Are you my furrever family? For further info on the adoption process, please visit our home page and check out the "Adopt a Dog" section, which has thorough instructions.  All our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and  fully vaccinated before adoption; they have been wormed, bathed, socialized, walked daily and much loved; each adoptee leaves with a leash, collar, and all medical records.   Our prices are higher than the shelters' because we nurse the dogs through their illnesses and get them needed surgeries and dentals. We also spend time socializing. Furthermore, unlike shelters, rescues do not get financial aid from the government and must rely on donations, grants, and adoption fees. Our fees for adults start at $150 and usually go up to $750. Young adults that are high in demand may be a little over $750.00. For puppies and purebreds, we charge up to $1000. The lower end is for dogs who have been here a while. The good news is that, because rescues fall under the "charity" category, the fees for our dogs are officially donations and are therefore tax deductible. You can think of it as donating to a worthy cause and getting a dog in return!  Sponsor Me Beagles & Buddies must find ways to raise money so we can continue saving dogs. Your tax-deductible donation keeps our rescue kennel operating!  Hours Friday:  10 am to 3 pm Saturday:  10 am to 3 pm Sunday: 10 am to 3 pm Monday: CLOSED Tuesday: CLOSED Wednesday: CLOSED Thursday: CLOSED &#226&#128&#139 Weekday appointments may be available.  We are a small staff and do our best to accommodate your needs. **Note that during COVID, we are not holding open houses on any day. Please email us for an appointment and include your application (found on our website, beaglesandbuddies.com, under "Forms"). Most appointments will be Friday through Sunday, though other days may also be available. We usually schedule one appointment per hour. Allow 1-2 hours for your appointment. Please look at our website and make a list of one or more dogs that you would like to see.
