Story
Yogi is a big ole teddy bear, he loves your personal space just as much as you do. Yogi is a fluffy ball of energy, he loves bones and tougher toys and always gets the zoomies. He loves to run around and chew on as many bones and toys as he can get ahold of, and with his mountain of fur he loves the snow. Yogi would thrive in a home with a lot of space and a fenced in back yard. He hasn't been introduced to cats or many big dogs but tends to get along with smaller dogs fine. He knows basic commands such as sit, lay down and come, as well as being house trained. He does have some separation anxiety but he is crate trained. Yogi is neutered and up-to-date on his vaccine and is perfectly healthy.

Story
Come meet me and hundreds of adoptable pets at Cincinnati's mega adoption event, My Furry Valentine! Saturday, February 21st and Sunday February 22nd at Spooky Nook Sports! Meet the Poison Pups! Toxic names - totally harmless cuddles. These Great Pyrenees pups were born on November 24th, 2025. They are as sweet as they are fluffy. They love to romp around the house and see what puppy trouble they can get into, but once they are tired, they love nothing more than to cuddle up in the lap of their foster family. We hope no one tells them that pretty soon they will be far too big to be lap dogs! The poison pups have been socialized with other dogs, kids and cats in their foster home. They have done well with everyone they've met and are curious about everyone and everything! Because of their breed and their size, the poison pups would do best in homes with fenced in yards as they love to roam the yard and need lots of room to grow! These will be large dogs when they are full grown, will require lifelong grooming and will likely have some personality traits that are consistent with that of their breed, so potential families will need to take these things into consideration when applying for these adorable fluffs! The Poison pups can't wait to meet you! Once exposed, you’ll never want the antidote! If these puppies seem like the right fit for your family - apply today! Their adoption fees are $400. To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals. For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible. We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.

Story
Introducing: Baby Billy. Yes, that Baby Billy energy. This 7 month old Pyrenees mix is a snow-lovin’, bone-chewin’, attention-deservin’ Southern gentleman who doesn’t bark unless the moment truly calls for it. When he does? It’s justified. Probably celebratory. Baby Billy enjoys his toys like they’re blessings, then retires to the fireplace to cuddle—because a man of stature knows when it’s time to be adored. He's great with his fellow canine companions and is cat friendly. He actually loves cats so much he tries to kiss them. He’s crate trained for meals and bedtime and house trained, because even chaos has standards -when it suits him. He brings strong Righteous Gemstones vibes: charming, dramatic, irresistibly lovable, and fully convinced he belongs in a home where he’s appreciated daily, praised often and given many treats! All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.   February 9, 2026, 9:51 pm

Story
My name’s Stryker, and I’m a big, lovable Great Pyrenees/Shepherd mix looking-e! I don’t mean to brag, but I’ve been told I give the best hugs—big, fluffy, full-body snuggles that will make all your worries disappear. I promise, if you’re looking for a cuddle buddy, I’m your guy! I get along with most dogs, but I like to take my time getting to know them first—just to make sure we’ll be good friends. As for cats? Well… that’s still a mystery! No one’s really tested that yet. I’d love a home where I can enjoy the outdoors because I do not like it indoors at all. I do want to be with my people. To adopt one of our animals, please visit our shelter, open Tuesday-Friday from Noon-5pm and Saturday from Noon-4pm.
