Bear is the sweetest and cuddliest dog I have ever met unfortunately he suffers from separation anxiety if he is not caged near another animal or is left alone. Due to past living situations he has become very nervous around other dogs and has a tendency to snap if they are unknown and in his space. He hasn’t had problem around dogs he’s known since I’ve owned him or smaller dogs but more recently new dogs cause him a lot of stress, this did not use to be the case and I believe he could be that way again given time. He loves to play with anyone and probably loves the attention of people more than other dogs if I’m being honest. He’s an all around great dog he just needs someone who can give him a friend or be with him in a larger space, possibly an active family or someone with a semi normal work schedule.

We can't get enough of that wrinkly face!! Althea is vision impaired (see video) but she loves playing with the other dogs in her foster home and snuggling with her people. She is working on all her puppy basics and already recalls really well. He’s friendly with other dogs and knows when to give them space if they’re not in the mood to play. Even though he’s strong, Dexter walks well on a leash and checks in often to make sure he’s doing a good job. He knows how to sit and shake, and he takes treats gently. Dexter enjoys exploring new places, sniffing around, and coming back for more love. He’s calm with new sights and sounds, and even when left alone, he eventually settles down. Dexter is a gentle giant who just wants to be close to his people and make them smile!
