Story
Meet Kobe — a truly special boy with a heart full of love and a tail that never stops wagging. 🐾❤️ Kobe spent most of his life with a family who loved and cared for him deeply. He knew what it meant to be part of a home, complete with vet care, comfort, and lots of affection. Sadly, due to changes in their circumstances, they made the heartbreaking decision to surrender him. Even through all the change, Kobe has remained the sweetest, happiest boy. This handsome guy is everything you could want in a companion — loving, smart, friendly, and incredibly loyal. Kobe was both crate trained and potty trained in his previous home and may just need a little guidance while settling into a new routine. Most of all, he simply wants to be near his people. Kobe absolutely loves playtime! Give him a rope toy for tug-of-war, toss a ball for fetch, or take him out on a nice walk, and he’ll be in heaven. He’s affectionate, fun, and always ready to spend quality time with you. Whether you’re heading out for an adventure or relaxing at home, Kobe is happiest right by your side. Kobe deserves nothing less than a lifetime filled with comfort, love, and companionship. If you think this amazing boy could be the missing piece to your heart and home, please apply and come meet him today. He truly is the goodest boy. 🦴💕

Story
Falkor is a confident, energetic little spitfire who loves to play, explore, and learn. He’s crate trained and thriving with routine, and he’ll do best with an adopter who enjoys training and structure. He is about 8 months old and weighs 60lbs. Falkor can be slow to warm up with new dogs, so he’ll need patient, positive introductions, but once he bonds he’s affectionate, goofy, and full of personality. Falkor is very kid and cat friendly!  He’s a smart pup with tons of potential and will make a loyal, entertaining companion. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.   June 7, 2026, 12:10 pm

Story
Louie is a gorgeous Great Pyrenees mix, approximately 2-3 years old, who was released by his owner. Louie is friendly and loves people. He will do best with kids over 6 due to his size (he is currently 90 pounds). Louie should do fine with other dogs but NO CATS for Louie. He is housetrained. Great Pyrenees are typically affectionate, patient, and gentle with children, but they can also be independent thinkers. They do best in homes that appreciate their guardian instincts and can give them space, consistent guidance, and plenty of love. Louie has tested negative for heartworm, has been neutered, and is current on vaccinations. You will receive health records and a bag of Hill's Science Diet pet food upon adoption. Adoption donation $280. Please complete the pre-adoption questionnaire at: https://www.cchspets.com/adoption-pre-qualifier We will contact you via email. Please check your spam/junk folders!

Story
My name’s Stryker, and I’m a big, lovable Great Pyrenees/Shepherd mix looking-e! I don’t mean to brag, but I’ve been told I give the best hugs—big, fluffy, full-body snuggles that will make all your worries disappear. I promise, if you’re looking for a cuddle buddy, I’m your guy! I get along with most dogs, but I like to take my time getting to know them first—just to make sure we’ll be good friends. As for cats? Well… that’s still a mystery! No one’s really tested that yet. I’d love a home where I can enjoy the outdoors because I do not like it indoors at all. I do want to be with my people. To adopt one of our animals, please visit our shelter, open Tuesday-Friday from Noon-5pm and Saturday from Noon-4pm. You may also submit an application online from our website at http://www.HelpTheAnimalsINC.com/adopt.
