Story
Hi! My name is Chappell Bone. I’m a sweet, gentle girl who is adjusting well and loves having a soft dog bed where I can curl up and nap. I do well with other dogs and kids and really enjoy getting love and attention from my people. I’m a calm girl who prefers a quiet life rather than lots of activity, and I’m probably not the kind of dog who wants to go on regular walks. My perfect home would be on a farm or a large property, as I’m not a city girl and busy, crowded environments make me uncomfortable. I would do best in a peaceful, rural setting with plenty of space where I can relax and feel safe. I’m not sure how I feel about cats just yet.To adopt one of our animals, please visit our shelter, open Tuesday-Friday from Noon-5pm and Saturday from Noon-4pm. You may also submit an application online from our website at http://www.HelpTheAnimalsINC.com/adopt.

Story
My name’s Stryker, and I’m a big, lovable Great Pyrenees/Shepherd mix looking-e! I don’t mean to brag, but I’ve been told I give the best hugs—big, fluffy, full-body snuggles that will make all your worries disappear. I promise, if you’re looking for a cuddle buddy, I’m your guy! I get along with most dogs, but I like to take my time getting to know them first—just to make sure we’ll be good friends. As for cats? Well… that’s still a mystery! No one’s really tested that yet. I’d love a home where I can enjoy the outdoors because I do not like it indoors at all. I do want to be with my people. To adopt one of our animals, please visit our shelter, open Tuesday-Friday from Noon-5pm and Saturday from Noon-4pm. Story
Meet Holland Tulip! She’s a 15 week-old Female Spayed Great Pyrenees mix who currently weighs 28 pounds. While she likely will not reach the size of a purebred Great Pyrenees, she is still expected to grow into a large dog—likely around 80 pounds. Holland Tulip was rescued from a shelter in Kentucky and is now ready to find her forever family. She is incredibly loving and does wonderfully with both other dogs and children. She has not been been tested with cats.  She’s a quick learner and has already made amazing progress—she is crate trained and doing great with her potty training! She’s currently working on basic commands and leash training. Holland Tulip has the perfect balance of playful and sweet—she loves to play hard, then curl up for snuggles and a cozy nap. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a big heart and an even bigger future, Holland Tulip is ready to fill your home with love, laughter, and cuddles. Could you be the one she’s been waiting for? Check her out on Adopt A Pit! She truly is the best puppy!  All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.   April 27, 2026, 11:45 pm

Story
Falkor is a confident, energetic little spitfire who loves to play, explore, and learn. He’s crate trained and thriving with routine, and he’ll do best with an adopter who enjoys training and structure. He is about 8 months old and weighs 60lbs. Falkor can be slow to warm up with new dogs, so he’ll need patient, positive introductions, but once he bonds he’s affectionate, goofy, and full of personality. Falkor is very kid and cat friendly!  He’s a smart pup with tons of potential and will make a loyal, entertaining companion. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home.
