Story
The good: Bucky is friendly, great with kids, dogs and cats, not a high energy guy, and is happy to lounge around or go on a walk. He’s a great dog just the usual case of not having enough time to put into training. He walks well on a leash and knows sit. I believe he would do best with another dog friend, he was very attached to our senior dog who passed away. He sleeps in his kennel at night and only barks to alert of someone nearby. The bad: Bucky marks when he’s inside, we have him wear a diaper when he’s in but hopefully someone could break him of this habit.

Story
Meet Bear, a young Great Pyrenees with a big personality to match his big paws! This handsome boy is equal parts lovable guardian, independent thinker, and full-time adventure seeker.Bear is what you might call an “escape artist extraordinaire.” Got a fence? He’ll study it. Got a gate? He’ll test it. He’s clever, determined, and always curious about what’s happening on the other side. True to his Pyrenees nature, Bear likes to make his own decisions—and sometimes that includes deciding the grass is greener somewhere else!Stubborn? Absolutely. But it comes with the territory. Bear is intelligent and strong-willed, which means he’ll thrive with a confident, patient owner who understands the independent guardian breed mindset. Consistent training, secure fencing, and plenty of mental and physical stimulation will help him channel his smarts in the right direction.Underneath that determined exterior is a loyal, affectionate boy who bonds deeply with his people. He loves being part of the family, keeping watch over his home, and soaking up attention when he’s in the mood (which is often, on his terms of course).Bear is looking for a home that appreciates his protective instincts, respects his independent spirit, and is ready to embrace life with a big, fluffy character. If you’ve got a secure yard, a sense of humor, and room in your heart for a stubborn sweetheart, Bear might just be your perfect match!Adoption fee is $350 + $30 microchip fee + tax

Story
Oscar is a 10-month-old Great Pyrenees looking for a home where he can thrive. He is a loving, cuddly dog who loves to play, go on walks, and spend time outdoors. He enjoys attention and would do best with someone who has the time and space to work with him. Oscar does have resource guarding behaviors, so he will need an owner willing to continue consistent one-on-one training. Aside from that, he is generally well behaved and has a good start on basic training. He has grown up around one dog and one cat, but he hasn’t gotten along well with them, again due to resource guarding. Because of this, we believe Oscar would do best in a single-pet home, or with someone experienced working with dogs who need careful introductions. We took Oscar in hoping we could provide the home he needed, but with a baby on the way and limited space, we realized we cannot give him the time, training, and environment he deserves. Our goal is simply to find him the right home where he can succeed.

Story
Hi everyone! I’m Courtney and I love life. I’m a happy-go-lucky girl who’s always ready for an adventure. I LOVE TO PLAY. Fetch? Yes. Running with dog friends? Yes. Playing tag with kids? Yes. Squeaky toys by myself? Yes. Food is awesome, I love food. And treats. And ice cubes. I’m crate trained, potty trained, and love a good snuggle and nap in the afternoon. Meeting new people is also fun. I’m working very hard to sit and not jump up to give hugs. I’m also working on my leash-walking skills. I’m just so enthusiastic about life that sometimes I need reminders. I came up to Minnesota from Alabama at 10 weeks old. My rescuers noticed I had some trauma to one eye, so I had surgery. It’s a lot better—I can kind of see out of it now. It doesn’t slow me down one bit though. I get one eye drop a day and I’m good to go.I’m looking for my forever people, who will include me in all the fun they’re having. I don’t need a dog sibling or a fence but I sure would love both! Are we a match? Let’s meet and find out!--------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions. If they came to our rescue as an owner surrender, the breed description will be listed as provided by the previous owner.Adoption Fee - $500To apply for this pup, please submit an Adoption Application at http://warriordogrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application/

Story
**Wilson's adoption fee has been sponsored thanks to a generous donor**Hi friends! My name’s Wilson, and I may just be the goofy, loyal sidekick you’ve been waiting for. I made the big trip from Alabama to Minnesota as a puppy, and now at four years old, I’m ready to find my forever family.I’m a sweet boy who lives for affection and being right by your side—bonus points if I can curl up on the couch with you after a long day. I take my job as backyard patrol officer very seriously, and I’ll happily keep an eye out for squirrels, rabbits, or any suspicious leaf that blows by.New situations can make me a little nervous, so I’ll need a patient person who can help me build up my confidence. But once I feel safe, you’ll see my silly, loving side shine. I already adore car rides and hikes in nature, and I’m working on neighborhood walks. One thing’s for sure—I’ll make every adventure more fun.My coat is as handsome as it gets, and lucky for you, I love being brushed! I’m also smart (maybe a little too smart), so don’t be surprised if I end up training you instead. Because I’m protective by nature, I’d do best in a quieter neighborhood or, even better, a home with a big yard where I can stretch my legs.If you’re looking for a sweet, stubbornly smart, and completely lovable companion to join you in life’s adventures, I just might be your guy.-------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spay/neuter before adoption unless age is a factor with a puppy younger than 6-12 months at the time of adoption. If that is the case, the spay/neuter will be covered in the adoption fee and the owner will be responsible to have the procedure completed at a Warrior Dog Rescue Veterinarian at the appropriate time. Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions. If they came to our rescue as an owner surrender, the breed description will be listed as provided by the previous owner.Adoption Fee - $0To apply for this pup, please submit an Adoption Application at http://warriordogrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application/
