Story
Harley is a sweet, snuggly, 5 year-old Great Pyrenees with a heart as big as her fluffy coat. Born on a farm in Minnesota, she’s loyal, calm, observant, and happiest when she’s close to her people. I adopted Harley as a puppy and she’s been my constant companion ever since. Around children 6 and older she’s wonderfully gentle, but she’s less comfortable with toddlers, young kids, and infants, so a home without little ones would be best for her. She deserves someone who will adore her as much as she’ll adore them in return. If you’re looking for a loving companion with the signature Great Pyrenees charm, Harley is ready to fill your home with warmth, softness, and devotion. The special need in question: Harley takes proin ER. Without it she has a minor leaky bladder from time to time, and by taking it she does not!

Story
History: 🧡 From Texas to Midwest 🤠—- A group of deserving dogs was recently welcomed as part of our Texas Transport Program! A program launched to make an impactful difference for our partner shelters in Texas facing the overpopulation of animals with limited resources and low adoption rates. We are excited to help these southern gems find loving forever homes to call their own! A Note from the Foster: Chapo may be 80lbs, but he’s actually a big baby lap dog. He loves every friend he meets and in fact gets upset if someone doesn’t come to pet him. He is quite playful and loves to play with his toys and other dogs. His favorite toys are the noisiest ones! Hanging his head out the car window is one of his favorite pastimes, aside from cuddling and attention of course. Structure and rules are new to him and he has a lot to learn, but he does so willingly with the help of deli turkey. Chapo requires (though he deserves it) lots of love and attention. His family should be one willing to spend lots of time with him! Chapo has a strong prey drive, so no small pets or cats in the home. He is committed to keeping your yard free of any squirrels, rabbits or neighborhood cats! He will need someone confident and firm as he is a typical stubborn Pyrenees. He doesn’t live with children, but has seen them and has acted positively towards them. Due to his young spirit, playful energy and large size, he would do best in a home with a larger dog. He does have a tendency to howl when left alone, so no shared walls will be ideal.

Story
Hi friends! My name’s Wilson, and I may just be the goofy, loyal sidekick you’ve been waiting for. I made the big trip from Alabama to Minnesota as a puppy, and now at four years old, I’m ready to find my forever family.I’m a sweet boy who lives for affection and being right by your side—bonus points if I can curl up on the couch with you after a long day. I take my job as backyard patrol officer very seriously, and I’ll happily keep an eye out for squirrels, rabbits, or any suspicious leaf that blows by.New situations can make me a little nervous, so I’ll need a patient person who can help me build up my confidence. But once I feel safe, you’ll see my silly, loving side shine. I already adore car rides and hikes in nature, and I’m working on neighborhood walks. One thing’s for sure—I’ll make every adventure more fun.My coat is as handsome as it gets, and lucky for you, I love being brushed! I’m also smart (maybe a little too smart), so don’t be surprised if I end up training you instead. Because I’m protective by nature, I’d do best in a quieter neighborhood or, even better, a home with a big yard where I can stretch my legs.If you’re looking for a sweet, stubbornly smart, and completely lovable companion to join you in life’s adventures, I just might be your guy.-------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spay/neuter before adoption unless age is a factor with a puppy younger than 6-12 months at the time of adoption. If that is the case, the spay/neuter will be covered in the adoption fee and the owner will be responsible to have the procedure completed at a Warrior Dog Rescue Veterinarian at the appropriate time. Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions. If they came to our rescue as an owner surrender, the breed description will be listed as provided by the previous owner.Adoption Fee - $400To apply for this pup, please submit an Adoption Application at http://warriordogrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application/
