Story

We adopted Gus in July 2024 as a companion for our senior Great Pyrenees mix. He's now about 17 months old; goofy, loving, food-motivated, and full of personality. He loves walks, car rides, and going to the dog park, where he gets along great with other dogs. He's housebroken, quickly learned his invisible fence boundaries, and hasn't had a single accident. Gus is strong and does best on walks with a gentle leader, he gets excited wanting to greet people and dogs, so he needs a confident handler. Unfortunately, as Gus has matured, he and our senior dog have entered into a serious power struggle that has escalated beyond what we can safely manage. While Gus is very social with other dogs in neutral settings like the park, we believe he would do best as the only dog in his next home. We're looking for an experienced and active home where Gus can continue to grow into the loyal, lovable dog he is. He has a great foundation, he just needs the right fit.

She is spayed, heartworm negative, microchipped, and fully vetted. She is such a sweet girl! She loves to be around people and other animals and especially loves pets and cuddles. She melts on to the floor when you pet her and rolls over to show you her tummy and her gratitude. Daisy loves to play with her chew toys and go for long walks. She sleeps in a kennel at night and is house trained. She gets along great with the two house cats in her foster home. She obviously wishes they wanted to play, but they don’t and so she gives them their space. Daisy has beautiful fluffy hair and she is going to make a great lifelong pal or addition to a family. She is learning not to pull on walks and also what she can and can’t chew. She sometimes gets very excited and jumps up and nips, but she is easily corrected and calmed.
