Hi everyone! I’m Courtney and I love life. I’m a happy-go-lucky girl who’s always ready for an adventure. I LOVE TO PLAY. Fetch? Yes. Running with dog friends? Yes. Playing tag with kids? Yes. Squeaky toys by myself? Yes. Food is awesome, I love food. And treats. And ice cubes. I’m crate trained, potty trained, and love a good snuggle and nap in the afternoon. Meeting new people is also fun. I’m working very hard to sit and not jump up to give hugs. I’m also working on my leash-walking skills. I’m just so enthusiastic about life that sometimes I need reminders. I came up to Minnesota from Alabama at 10 weeks old. My rescuers noticed I had some trauma to one eye, so I had surgery. It’s a lot better—I can kind of see out of it now. It doesn’t slow me down one bit though. I get one eye drop a day and I’m good to go.I’m looking for my forever people, who will include me in all the fun they’re having. I don’t need a dog sibling or a fence but I sure would love both! Hollie is a lovely dog. She was found in an abandoned home, left with no food or water and rescued. Since then, she has gained weight and found her playful side. She loves to play with other dogs and puppies and will match energy, she is very gentle with dogs and cats that are smaller than her. Hollies can bark and hide when frightened or first meets someone but warms up within moments. She is food motivated and loves a good treat. She walks right past and ignores most cats.She is fully housetrained, and is beginning to learn commands but already knows to go outside or come inside and to go to bed. She does love to cuddle and enjoys good tummy scratches. She likes to share a bed with her person and will cuddle you all night, no heater needed!
