Meet Bones! Some dogs just need someone willing to see the world a little differently. Bones is one of those dogs. At just over a year old and around 80 pounds, Bones is a gorgeous Great Pyrenees/Heeler mix with a big heart, a joyful spirit, and a smile that lights up a room. He is neutered, fully vaccinated, on heartworm prevention, and ready to find the family he's been waiting for. Bones is deaf, but don't let that fool you—he is incredibly smart and highly trainable. He already knows hand signals for "come" and "sit" and has shown just how capable he is of learning. He loves people, thrives on interaction, and wakes up every day excited for whatever adventure comes next. Raised by an experienced rescuer, Bones has lived around multiple dogs and has zero history of aggression toward other dogs. He loves canine companionship and enjoys playtime with dogs of various sizes. Because he is a big, enthusiastic boy who doesn't always realize his own size and strength, very tiny or fragile dogs may not be the best fit simply because his play style can be exuberant. Bones has spent much of his life outdoors but is also comfortable spending time indoors when supervised. He adapts well and enjoys being part of the family. Because Bones is deaf, he cannot hear growls, hisses, or other warning signals from animals around him. Unfortunately, there have been incidents involving cats, and he should not be placed in a home with cats or other small animals. This is not a reflection of aggression, but it does mean he needs a home where everyone can be kept safe. The decision to rehome Bones was made with tremendous love and care. He is not a problem dog. He is a special dog who deserves a home that understands his unique needs and appreciates everything that makes him wonderful. If you have a soft spot for dogs who are a little different, a little extraordinary, and completely deserving of a chance, Bones may be exactly the companion you've been looking for. ##2756432##

Story
Cedar is a sweet girl who we adopted at 3 months old. She is a big goofball who likes to play fetch and tug. She loves to chew on antlers and bones.She loves food and is very food motivated. She will counter surf if given the chance. We are very conscious to feed her away from other dogs as food and resource guarding (special bone, toy, person etc) are triggers for her. We crate her when we leave the house with a peanut butter kong as she can get into things when left alone.She tries to play with our cat which the cat doesn’t like but she gets along with her fine.She needs an experienced dog owner with noas she can be unexpectedly reactive especially towards children or occasionally other dogs. She has been with us for two years and has only had a few incidents with kids or our other dog or puppy where she gets snarly and has bitten. That being said we love her and don’t want to get rid of her but we have a baby who is new to walking.

Meet Jasmine! Jasmine and her siblings were found abandoned. They have been with a foster since 7/4/24, and they are all super sweet and friendly. They are good with other dogs and kids. They are around 6 months old now. We aren't sure on the breed but our best guess is Lab/Great Pyrenees/Anatolian Shepherd mix. They will be large once fully grown. They have been fully vetted and are ready to find their forever homes!

Meet Izzy! Izzy is very shy at first but once she trust you, her playful puppy side comes out! She is very sweet and just needs to know she is safe before she comes out of her shell. She is around 5 months old. Our best guess is retriever/pyr mix. She will probably be medium/large once fully grown. She has been fully vetted and is ready for her forever home!

  Meet Lady Anne, a stunning 4-year-old Great Pyrenees whose story is one of resilience, devotion, and unconditional love.   When it came time to give birth, Lady Anne did what any devoted mother would do—she searched for a place she believed would keep her babies safe. She chose a quiet spot beneath a shed, only for that refuge to become anything but safe. Thankfully, a compassionate neighbor recognized the danger and reached out for help. Critter Cavalry stepped in just in time, giving Lady Anne and her nine newborn puppies the second chance they so desperately needed.   Placed with an experienced foster family, Lady Anne slowly learned that she and her puppies were finally safe. At first, she was understandably protective, but with patience and kindness she allowed her foster family to help her. Beneath her thick coat were painful mats, ticks, and fleas, and she needed a gentle grooming and a trimmed belly so her puppies could nurse comfortably. Through it all, her only concern was her babies.   For seven weeks, Lady Anne rarely left their side. As the puppies grew, she would ask to step out of their pen, only to lie beside the fence, faithfully watching over them. Day and night, she stood guard, making sure every puppy was safe. Even after they were weaned, she continued her watch. It wasn't until each puppy had gone to a loving home and the pen stood empty that Lady Anne finally walked into the air-conditioned house, curled up, and truly rested.   Her watch was finally over.   But Great Pyrenees are born with a purpose, and Lady Anne simply found a new one. She now happily patrols the fence lines, checking on the livestock with quiet confidence before making her rounds to visit the very dogs she once chased away from her puppies. Today, they're all friends.   Lady Anne can be a little reserved when meeting new people, taking her time to decide who she can trust. Once she knows your intentions are kind, however, she gives you her whole heart. She'll greet you with joyful full-body wiggles, lean into your affection, and 'talk' to you in her soft, gentle Pyrenees whines that seem to say just how happy she is to be by your side. She is cat-friendly, easygoing, gentle, and deeply loyal—the kind of dog who doesn't just become a pet but a steadfast companion. Lady Anne has already proven what an incredible guardian she is.
