Story
Queen of everything the light touches, and boy does she know it! This attention loving, bulky girl is one os the sweetest dogs you could ever hope for. Much like her namesake, she is spirited and adventurous, which certainly comes through in her play style. She is constantly seeking someones attention or entertaining herself with toys. Around the SNIPSA office, she has found it very easy to make friends with the other pups, making her the perfect candidate for a home that already has a four-legged friend or two. Additionally, as a Great Pyrenees Mix , she would make a fantastic addition to a family with a large yard to roam. Great Pyrenees were originally bred as livestock guardians due to their desire to roam and monitor their land. They are also widely known as gentle giants because of their large size and easygoing nature. Nala fits her breed standard well as she loves getting scratches and tends to fall asleep in your hands if you let her. Though, due to her size, and love for food, make sure you’re not leaving any delicious treats on the counter for her to reach. Over all, Nala is well-rounded canine that would fit in well with most families. So, if you are in the market for a gentle, yet playful gal then submit an application for Nala today!

Story
Are you looking for a gentle giant? Cause boy do we have the perfect dog for you! Meet Jed, an Great Pyrenees/Anatolian Shepherd Mix from Luling, Texas! This handsome fella is as goofy as he is sweet. At over a year old, Jed still has plenty of puppy left in him. Despite his gangly legs and and funky frolicking, it doesn’t take long before he’s ready to lay into his famous sploot! Hailing from a combination of livestock guardian breeds, Jed would benefit from a home with plenty of room to roam. GPs and Anatolians are both known for their loyalty, devotion and calm demeanor, so Jed would make a wonderful family companion. His goofy and curious nature makes him an expert at making friends, both humans and other animals alike. Jed is a loving boy with an eagerness to take part in whatever activities you will allow him in on. So, if you’re looking for a new best friend and don’t mind the extra fluff, then submit an application today!

Story
Buddy is a handsome boy who was found in July 2022 by a caring couple who homed him for several months. They were unable to keep him and luckily we were able to help. This sweet guy has been great with all humans so far, even older children. He is exuberant and almost 90lbs and will need a strong handler (although he walks on the leash well). Buddy is now living at Tracy's home and shares his yard with many other dogs and puppies, never involving himself in scuffles. He really is a goodnatured dog who deserves a loving home.

Meet Cosmo! He absolutely LOOOOOVES ATTENTION! He wants all the rubs and loves you got on ya and hope there’s more where that came from! He gets along well with other dogs and will sometimes play, but he's mostly chill and just likes to hang out. He would make an amazing addition to your family! He's a 2 year old Great Pyrenees and he's on the smaller side for his breed at about 65 pounds. He'd love to find a laid back forever home!IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats.
