Story
His name is Billy. He is a good dog and is house-trained. He is good with other dogs unless he feels threatened. He is very good with children and loves to play. He is very strong and eats a lot. He sheds a lot because he has a lot of fur. He eats everything. I am looking to rehome him because I don't have as much time as I used to. I have another small dog that they get along with like brothers. If you want, you can take him too. They are both very sweet.

Meet Maria!Maria is a sweet, affectionate young dog estimated 3 years old who truly loves her people. She’s been with us for just over two years and has shown herself to be incredibly friendly with adults and children alike. If you’re looking for a dog who enjoys companionship and being close to her humans, Maria will happily be your shadow.Maria does best as the only pet in the home, where she can have her people all to herself. She thrives on attention and bonding time and would be a wonderful match for someone who works from home, is retired, or simply enjoys spending a lot of time with their dog.She is house trained and knows her routine well. Maria enjoys walks and is curious about the world. Maria is clever and alert. Structure, consistency, and companionship, is when she truly shines. She comes with her large bed, kennel, treats, harness/leash, food bowls and container for her food as well as all her stuffed animals that she never plays with :) she is microchipped.

Story
Lilith just turned 10 years old (birthday is 5/5/2016), and is an absolute sweetheart. She just wants to be near people, and loves running around the yard.Unfortunately Lilith cannot be in a household with other dogs, as she is used to being an only dog and gets aggressive with other dogs, but otherwise she is great with people and especially kids. She is fully house trained, knows her basic commands, and is generally well behaved. She would be a great pet for someone that is looking for a companion and has a fenced in yard, as she thoroughly enjoys her time both outside and inside snuggling with her humans. Please let me know if you have any questions, thanks!

Story
At almost 1 year old, Fiona is a beautiful, goofy Great Pyrenees mix who’s happiest simply being near her people. She’s the perfect mix of playful and snuggly. She walks beautifully on leash and loves a leisurely neighborhood stroll. When she's not soaking up the sun, she enjoys chewing on a good bone, stealing your spot on the couch or curling up next to you for pets. Whatever you’re doing, Fiona is just happy to be included. She is so social that she will need a 6 foot or taller fence, she's an social escape artist. She loves people and has done well living with two cats, though she hasn’t quite realized they’re a fraction of her size. (Personal space is a work in progress ). Gets along well with other dogs and has been around children over 10 years old with no problems. If you’re looking for a loyal, fluffy companion who will bring a ton of love and a laughter to your home, Fiona is your girl. Ms. Fiona is being Fostered in the Austin, Texas area. Adoption fee is for local area. If transported, the fee will be $400 Apply for Fiona here https://www.centraltexasruffugees.org/copy-of-foster

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Bolt is waiting patiently for his forever home! Bolt is a 5 1/2 year old Great Pyrenees-Catahoula leopard dog mix. Bolt is a sweet and loyal companion, enjoys being in the yard when his foster mom gardens, and loves pets and attention. Bolt has a serious side, he barks when he perceives a threat (the UPS truck, mailman, etc) and a silly side, finding all sorts of random things to play with-he’d rather forage something around the house and cares less about dog toys. Bolt is super helpful around the house, he loves to help load the dishwasher, clean off the counters, and helps with the laundry by dragging clothes and towels from the laundry room outside in the rain, lol, he’s all about conservation! His new family should be sturdy as he can get spunky and want to play while doing zoomies around his people. He would love his own person/people to reciprocate his loyalty, someone who likes to relax and also find adventure. If you are looking for your “ride or die” dog, that’s Bolt, he is smart and eager to please. Bolt could get along with a female dog but would prefer to eat alone. Bolt is being fostered in Tacoma, WA and can be transported within WA and OR . All our dogs require secure VISIBLE fencing. All current pets in adoptive home must be spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccinations.  Adoption Fee: $175 All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations. Transport Fee: none Transport fee includes the cost of transport plus the Health Certificate required for USDA approved transport. Adoption applications can be found on our website: www.greatpyrsandpaws.org https://greatpyrsandpaws.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=5959   Northwest adopter pays cost of transport to independent transport company.  Transport is arranged by GPPR.      Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 8, 2026, 9:48 pm
