Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Bolt is waiting patiently for his forever home! Bolt is a 5 1/2 year old Great Pyrenees-Catahoula leopard dog mix. Bolt is a sweet and loyal companion, enjoys being in the yard when his foster mom gardens, and loves pets and attention. Bolt has a serious side, he barks when he perceives a threat (the UPS truck, mailman, etc) and a silly side, finding all sorts of random things to play with-he’d rather forage something around the house and cares less about dog toys. Bolt is super helpful around the house, he loves to help load the dishwasher, clean off the counters, and helps with the laundry by dragging clothes and towels from the laundry room outside in the rain, lol, he’s all about conservation! His new family should be sturdy as he can get spunky and want to play while doing zoomies around his people. He would love his own person/people to reciprocate his loyalty, someone who likes to relax and also find adventure. If you are looking for your “ride or die” dog, that’s Bolt, he is smart and eager to please. Bolt could get along with a female dog but would prefer to eat alone. Bolt is being fostered in Tacoma, WA and can be transported within WA and OR . All our dogs require secure VISIBLE fencing. All current pets in adoptive home must be spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccinations.  Adoption Fee: $175 All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations. Transport Fee: none Transport fee includes the cost of transport plus the Health Certificate required for USDA approved transport. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.  Molly is a very friendly and loving, 6 yr old rescue dog. She is 70 lb, spayed, current on all vaccines, and is in great health. She loves her humans and all their guests. She currently has a canine brother, a feline sister, and a toddler brother who she lives with in harmony. She especially loves her toddler brother. She is very smart, energetic, and independent. She knows how to sit, lay down, shake, and back up. She enjoys playing chase and tug of war with people and select other canine friends. She has been socialized, and with additional exposure and supervision has been able to fit in well at dog parks and daycares. She enjoys chewing up fuzzy squeaky toys and keeping her humans company on the couch. She is crate trained, but free roams around the house since her family works from home.  Molly is currently being fostered in Astoria, OR and can be transported within OR or WA.  If Molly sounds like she will be a great addition to your family, please complete an application.   All our dogs require secure VISIBLE fencing. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Here's Texana!  Texana is a beautiful, sweet and spunky  1 1/2 yr old girl, looking for a new place to crash.  She's come a long way in her current home, she would just prefer to be the only queen of the castle.  What we know of Texana, she was brought up to the PNW from Texas when she was about 3 months old and unfortunately, did not have a lot of socialization in her younger years.  Regardless, she knows some commands and wants to please her people.  Common of Pyrs she likes to patrol the property, bark at any potential threats, and can be a little stubborn, which is one of the reasons we love our Pyrs!  She's not a fan of cats and has not been exposed to livestock.  She would like do okay with a mellow male dog, meet and greets prior to adoption would be helpful.  Texana is being fostered by her current family in Olympia, WA and can be adopted within WA-OR.  All our dogs require secure VISIBLE fencing. All current pets in adoptive home must be spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccinations.  We do not adopt to families with children under the age of 6.  Adoption Fee: $275 All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations. Story
Meet Ladybug! She is part Great Pyr, part social butterfly, and possibly part seal based on her deep love of water. Ladybug is the kind of dog who believes every person she meets is her new best friend. She is over-the-top friendly, gregarious, and always excited to be included in whatever adventure is happening nearby. Whether she’s splashing in water, hanging out with dog friends, or soaking up attention from humans, Ladybug approaches life with pure joy. She is dog friendly, house trained, and currently learning leash manners. She’s eager to please and making great progress. Ladybug would thrive in a home with canine companions, but she would also be perfectly happy soaking up all the love as your one and only. Mostly, Ladybug just wants a home of her own — somewhere she can finally settle in, be loved endlessly, and remind you daily that life is more fun when you greet it with enthusiasm. Stats- 6 months old housetrained crate trained up to date on vax fixed apply here to meet Ladybug. She is being fostered in the Washington State area. https://www.centraltexasruffugees.org/copy-of-foster
