Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Bolt is waiting patiently for his forever home! Bolt is a 5 1/2 year old Great Pyrenees-Catahoula leopard dog mix. Bolt is a sweet and loyal companion, enjoys being in the yard when his foster mom gardens, and loves pets and attention. Bolt has a serious side, he barks when he perceives a threat (the UPS truck, mailman, etc) and a silly side, finding all sorts of random things to play with-he’d rather forage something around the house and cares less about dog toys. Bolt is super helpful around the house, he loves to help load the dishwasher, clean off the counters, and helps with the laundry by dragging clothes and towels from the laundry room outside in the rain, lol, he’s all about conservation! His new family should be sturdy as he can get spunky and want to play while doing zoomies around his people. He would love his own person/people to reciprocate his loyalty, someone who likes to relax and also find adventure. If you are looking for your “ride or die” dog, that’s Bolt, he is smart and eager to please. Bolt could get along with a female dog but would prefer to eat alone. Bolt is being fostered in Tacoma, WA and can be transported within WA and OR . All our dogs require secure VISIBLE fencing. All current pets in adoptive home must be spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccinations.  Adoption Fee: $175 All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.  A note from Duke:  Hey there, I'm Duke!  A soft, loyal, slightly goofy guy looking for my forever home.  I'm happiest when I get to run, dig cozy holes to nap in, or go on sniffing adventures (my nose leads the way!).  I'm a bit of a climber too-fences don't slow me down much-so I'll need a safe, secure space to keep my exploring paws where they belong. I love food, toys, and finding the squeaker in every toy I meet.  Snacks and playtime are my two favorite things!  I also know basic commands and I'm a really good listener when you talk to me kindly-I'll even roll right over for belly rubs.  I get along great with dogs of all sizes (except one unneutered male who just rubbed me the wrong way) and I'm cat friendly too.  The truth is, I'm a gentle soul.  I get a little scared when voices are raised or there's sudden movement,  so I'd do best with someone who has a calm, patient energy. Leash walks are fun-unless there's something really interesting to smell, then I might tug a bit.  My fur is super soft, but when I get muddy (which I love), the dirt mysteriously ends up on the floor once it dries...can't imagine how that happens?!  Oh, and one more thing, I don't like the color red.  Don't ask me why, I just don't trust it.  If you've got a farm or plenty of room to roam, I'd be the happiest boy by your side.  I've got a big heart, a playful spirit, and I'm ready to love my person forever.  Love, Duke. Duke is in Snohomish and can be available within WA-OR. All our dogs require secure VISIBLE fencing. All current pets in adoptive home must be spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccinations.  Adoption Fee: $275 All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations.  Adoption applications can be found on our website: www.greatpyrsandpaws.org https://greatpyrsandpaws.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=5959    Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 27, 2025, 9:09 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Lucy is a sweet and gentle 2-year-old Great Pyrenees looking for a loving home! She’s fully house-trained and has a calm, independent personality, but don’t be fooled—she loves attention and will happily follow you around for belly rubs and pets. She gets along well with other dogs (she currently lives with a golden retriever!) but can be a little protective of her food, so she’ll need a bit of patience in that area. However, Lucy takes treats and food by hand very gently and responds very well to us getting in her space while eating. She’s doing great on the leash and loves walks! Lucy loves hanging out outside, especially on the patio and backyard, and does well in the car. She’s not super into toys, but she listens well when she knows she’s not supposed to do something. If you’re looking for a laid-back, affectionate pup who’s independent but always up for some love, Lucy might be the one for you! All our dogs require secure VISIBLE fencing. All current pets in adoptive home must be spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccinations.  We do not adopt to families with children under the age of 6.  Adoption Fee: $275 All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations. Story
My fiance and I adopted two amazing Great Pyrenees puppies 5 years ago; Roman (Male) and Sawyer (Girl); they're roughly 5 years old and are incredible, beautiful dogs. Unfortunately my fiance and I have split ways and its been a struggle to take care of both dogs and a cat by myself. They've grown up with our cat and are extremely friendly with kids and other dogs; we've never had any issues. It breaks my heart to to give Sawyer away but I'd like to find a loving home that can give her the attention she needs. She has a very sweet demeanor, has been house trained, and even knows a few commands/tricks.

Story
Meet Maggie, a bright, affectionate, and eager-to-please young rescue dog who is ready to find her forever family. Just over a year old and weighing 65 pounds, Maggie is the perfect blend of youthful energy and eager intelligence. From the moment she arrived in her foster home, she impressed everyone with how quickly she learns. She already knows commands like sit, off, and leave it, and she loves showing off her skills for praise or treats. Maggie is also wonderfully adaptable. She took to using the doggie door within minutes, proving just how sharp and intuitive she is. Whether she’s exploring the yard, relaxing inside, or settling into her crate for rest time, Maggie handles transitions with ease and appreciates having predictable routines she can rely on. Social and gentle, Maggie gets along well with other dogs and enjoys having canine friends to play and interact with. She thrives in an environment where she can continue learning, bonding, and picking up new commands—training with her is not only easy but genuinely enjoyable thanks to how quickly she understands what’s being asked of her. Maggie does experience anxiety when left alone in the house, so she needs to be crated for her safety and comfort when unsupervised. She also becomes anxious during car rides, so at this time she is available only within Texas to avoid long transports that could overwhelm her. Maggie is a loving, intelligent companion who will blossom with a patient, committed family. She’s ready to bring joy, devotion, and her sweet spirit to a home that understands her needs and celebrates her wonderful strengths. Maggie is currently being fostered in a loving home in Seguin, TX, where she’s gaining confidence and practicing her manners every day. She can scale a short fence so a 6 foot fence or higher is recommended. To see more pictures and videos, copy and paste this link. To apply directly for Maggie click the "Apply for Adoption" button. https://www.shelterluv.com/embed/animal/FODS-A-779 All our dogs come with 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org. This benefit includes free access to Petcademy's team of trainers/behaviorists, as well as access to online materials that will help you settle your new family member into your home. You can text unlimited questions to Petcademy and they'll respond within 24 hours (Monday-Friday).

Story
This sweet girl is looking for her forever home! She's incredibly affectionate and loves being around people. She has a mellow personality, making her the perfect companion for both relaxing days at home and gentle adventures. She's wonderful with kids and has grown up around other dogs, cats, and even chickens, so she'll fit right in with a busy household full of love. If you're looking for a loyal, gentle, and cuddly family dog, she might just be the one for you! Almost 3 years old. Looking to rehome because due to unfortunate circumstances our living situation will not allow us to bring her with us. But we really want this sweet girl to find the best family, as she is such a great family dog.
