Doc is a confident, independent boy who enjoys exploring his surroundings at his own pace. He is approachable, calm, and easy to lead, showing comfort and confidence in new environments. During assessments, he was observed happily curled up on a bed on his own, content to take time and explore without stress. Doc is friendly, seeks out pats, also enjoys being on his own. Handling is simple. Doc has met several small dogs, including Italian greyhounds and had no reaction. He walks great on lead and has shown very little interest in squirrels he passes along the way. Doc would thrive in a home that appreciates a calm, confident, and independent companion, someone who can give him space to explore and settle while offering affection and guidance when he seeks it.
