We do not do out-of-state adoptions for puppies and we cannot hold puppies; please submit your application when you are ready to adopt. Just fill in the blanks and SEND. The adoption fees cover the mandatory and non-negotiable spay/neuter, rabies, microchip, microchip registration, core vaccinations including rabies and 4 sets of distemper/parvo and deworming. Adoption fees vary based on age, breed, size and the costs incurred on the dog's behalf by us i.e. medical, behavioral training, etc. Puppies are not house-trained although they may have begun crate-training and/or potty pad training in their foster home, depending on their age. House-training is a process that will need to be completed by their adopter. Puppies, if left unsupervised and not redirected will develop negative behaviors such as using the restroom in the wrong place, chewing, barking, whining, etc. Please be sure to do research on raising a puppy and be sure that you are prepared to do so. MEET AUTUMN Autumn is a handsome black boy with a gentle nature and a thoughtful approach to new experiences. Born September 27, 2021, Autumn is almost five years old. He traveled well to the assessor's home and handled the trip nicely. When it was time to go into the yard, Autumn was a little cautious at first. He needed some gentle coaxing and encouragement before deciding that the yard was worth exploring. Once he made his way in, however, he settled nicely and became quite comfortable. Before long, he was happily enjoying the yard and even discovered that the pool was pretty fun. Autumn walks well on lead and was easy to handle throughout his assessment. He can be a little cautious when meeting people and likes to take his time getting comfortable. Once he settles in, though, his sweet personality begins to shine. He soon became happy to interact with people and really enjoyed getting pats. Autumn also showed us that he is a very nice boy around other dogs. He played well with the smaller dogs and was comfortable sharing the yard with them. He showed no signs of resource guarding when treats were involved, even with other dogs and people nearby. Overall, Autumn was wonderful in the yard. He settled nicely, enjoyed the company of the other dogs and showed us what a lovely boy he is once he has had a little time to get comfortable. Autumn has not yet completed his cat test, so we will update his profile once we know more. Autumn may not be the boy who immediately charges into a new situation with his tail wagging. He prefers to take a moment, have a look around and decide that everything is okay. Give him that little bit of time and encouragement, and you get to see the affectionate, playful and happy boy underneath. Now Autumn is ready for the next chapter of his life. He is looking for a family who will give him the time to settle in, lots of encouragement and, of course, plenty of those pats he has already decided he loves. Autumn is a lovely boy who just needs someone willing to let him take the world at his own pace. Once he does, we think you are going to see just how special he is.

Meet Bella 🖤 Bella | 4-Year-Old Black Female Greyhound If you’re looking for a sweet, easygoing girl with a fun-loving side, meet Bella! This beautiful four-year-old black greyhound has a calm, social personality—and she absolutely LOVES the water! During her assessment, Bella discovered the pool and wasted no time jumping right in. She enjoyed a quick splash around and, when she was finished, climbed out all by herself. Clearly, this girl knows how to enjoy a pool day! Bella traveled well and was lovely on lead, walking gently and calmly. When introduced to a new environment, she took everything in stride. She had a leisurely sniff around, showed interest in the house, and even tried to head in through the back door before deciding the pool was calling her name again. She settled right back into the water on her own—apparently she had already found her happy place! Bella is very social with people and enjoys the companionship of other dogs. She interacted beautifully with both large dogs and a small dog, happily roaming around the yard with her little canine friend without any issues. While with other dogs, she showed no signs of resource guarding with toys, which was wonderful to see. Bella has not yet been introduced to cats, so that is still an unknown and would need to be assessed before placement in a cat home. When it’s time to relax, Bella knows how to settle. She is quiet and calm in her kennel and seems to have that lovely greyhound ability to go from exploring to simply enjoying the moment.
