My name is Walker and I got the sad news that I'm needing a new family. But you know, that's ok, I know there is a person just for me, that will make my golden years the best ever!! You see, I'm around 8+ years and yes I'm getting up there in age. It may take me a minute to get up and my back legs aren't quite as sturdy and strong as before but I still do love to patrol my backyard, go for leisurely strolls and hang out with all my friends (and I make friends with everybody!). I love people both tall and small, I do great with other doggies and I'll make friends with any wildlife that wanders into my yard. Although I'm not sure of cats, I don't try to hurt them but I will chase them out of the yard. I come in at around 70lbs but it's mostly legs (they go on forever). Must be some Greyhound in my hairytage! I'm housetrained and will come when you call and I know to sit on command. I've got a very mellow, gentle low key personality that will make me a great family addition for a home with kids and other pets. I'm hoping for a home to call my very own, a place with a soft bed to lay my head. A home where I could have the honor to call you...family!! Won't you please fill out my adoption application?!! SE Thor's Hammer, R71B, L75002Hi. I’m Thor. I’m not quite the god of thunder that I’m named after, in fact I’m a sweet and submissive boy. I love walks and think they're awesome! I might secretly love people too, but I'm a little shy at first but curious. I like to come to people when I'm ready and enjoy getting pets. I love having my own space in the house, and as long as I have a refuge and squeaky stuffy toys, I tolerate a lot of activity going on in the house. I get along with dogs the best, calm children are my next favorite, then adults. Anyone noisy or fast, I'll most likely choose to go up to last. I would rather not be kenneled and be an only dog. I really look to other dogs for reassurance and do fine as long as I have a dog buddy to hang with. I also really don't like stairs and so far, no amount of bribery and FOMO has tempted me enough to give them a go. My foster mom will continue to encourage me to give them a try. My new foster mom also says that I have opened up so much in just the two weeks that she's been with me and that it will be amazing to see how much braver I will get once I'm with my forever family. Billy, L VLFCMI love to be any place that my humans are, even if that means I am absolutely underfoot. I have a gentle, derpy disposition, I do have a tendency to be a leaner with the most adorable floppy ears. Scratch me all day, and when you stop, I'll paw at you for more. I am social and sweet. Everyone who has met me knows that I am friendly and I like to walk around the house at random with a toy in my mouth. You may even catch me walking around with the soft, squishy floor mat from the bathroom floor. I am also a bit of a hopsy-flopsy dude, so don't be too surprised if I try to jump up and give you a hug after I just met you. There is too much love and excitement in my heart! I've gotten along with every dog that I've met, but I haven't met any kids so while they seem exciting from a distance, I might be just as likely to try to play as knock them over with my enthusiasm! I'm fairly good in the kennel, but I would really prefer to be where the action is. I love being around people, giving hugs and kisses, cuddles and scratches, meal time, walks, keeping an eye out for bunnies and squirrels in the neighborhood, and sleeping on my back with my legs in the air. I have a desire to follow you around and am interested in what you're doing, a puppy spirit, soulful loving eyes, and a tendency to slobber. I am very friendly, curious, determined, and sometimes like to jump on guests when they arrive. I get along with all people I've met so far (haven't tried kids yet). I get along with all dogs once I get settled into the pack but may be overly attentive toward small dogs at first and like to have my own space during meal times. I would rather not you leave me - I have some separation anxiety but will settle down in my kennel eventually after you leave and I would rather not poop with you watching (possibly including when I'm on leash), and would rather not be kenneled at night. I need reinforcement of the rules and solid boundaries and things that I'm allowed to chew on and move around (i.e. toys). I have a gentle disposition, a tendency to be a leaner, curiosity, decent leash skills (minimal pulling), and no house training accidents so far. I am friendly, becoming playful, curious, and learning the stairs quickly. I get along with everyone, but get excited about squirrels when off leash in the fenced yard. TS Colby Chaos, R 12E, L 75145Hi, I'm Colby! I love Allllll the rubs and leaning on people. On walks, I love when people stop to pet me and to visit shops for treats and pets. I like to independently play with toys too but my foster person says I haven't discovered that they squeak yet. I have a funny way of scratching my head using my leg (not foot, although I do use my foot, too). It is really quirky! I am very sweet, super curious, and a bit mischievous. I do like to counter surf and my foster says I might be a hoarder. I took her slippers into my kennel. I'm great in the car but I need help getting in. My foster says I'm interested in other dogs - staring them down, pulling hard, a few times spinning on leash - so she did not have me meet any yet. I'm probably just so curious about seeing other types of dogs that aren't greyhounds. Something I can work on with some help from my forever person. Something else I need to work on with your help is that I'm not a fan of having certain things taken away. Looking forward to meeting you!
